What is expected in the initial Voyager offering?
The filing describes an expected first shipment configuration that includes the Voyager instrument, the Tau Proteoforms assay, the AKT1 Proteoforms assay, and an additional oncology proteoforms assay. That does not mean every assay or sample type Nautilus is developing will be ready at launch.
Nautilus said broadscale assay development had not progressed enough to support general availability in 2027 at its target specifications. Readers should therefore distinguish the targeted initial assays from broadscale assay availability.

Can customers access Nautilus analysis before instruments ship?
Yes, through a company-run early-access service rather than general customer operation of a shipped Voyager instrument. Nautilus launched its Iterative Mapping Early Access Program in January 2026, initially offering Tau proteoform services. In April 2026, it named Baylor College of Medicine as its first early-access customer for an NIH-funded cancer study.
The SEC filing describes the service as sample analysis and profiling conducted at Nautilus’s facility, with data and analysis shared through a cloud platform. It is distinct from buying or receiving an instrument for general commercial use.

What do the later workforce and financial figures show?
Nautilus reported 127 employees as of June 30, 2026, in its Form 10-Q. That is a later snapshot than the 133-person headcount reported after the 2025 cuts; the figures alone do not explain subsequent staffing changes.
The same filing reported $84.0 million in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments as of June 30, 2026. Nautilus said it believed those resources would fund planned operating expenses and capital expenditures for at least the following 12 months. The filing also cited ongoing development costs, future capital needs, and risks that could change resource use, so the balance is not a guarantee that the launch schedule will be met.
Why the launch dates may change
The 2027 milestones are management forecasts. Nautilus’s filing identifies development, testing, manufacturing, and funding risks that can affect the timing of commercialization. For a reader following the company, the key distinction is between an announced target and a completed milestone: an expected pre-order date does not establish that pre-orders opened, and an expected shipment window does not establish that instruments shipped.
