Neither Naoya Inoue’s nor TJ Doheny’s official final purse for their September 2024 fight is confirmed in the available reporting. Estimates circulated before the bout, but they conflict or are explicitly speculative, so they should not be treated as revealed salaries or take-home pay.

The two reported Inoue amounts do not match. The sources reviewed do not explain whether the discrepancy reflects different estimates, definitions, or reporting methods. Neither number is verified as his final purse, and there is no confirmed Doheny figure to compare against it.
Why the figures are not confirmed salaries
Before the fight, The Sporting News reported that payouts had not been revealed and that Doheny’s purse history was unknown. Marca USA likewise said official earnings data had not been disclosed.
