The sources reviewed do not establish that Bristol City disclosed or confirmed Wells’s pay, nor do they show whether the figure represents take-home pay or contractual terms. It is best described as a reported weekly estimate tied to a particular source and period.

The available season labels make that a misleading way to describe the estimate. SalarySport and AiScore list Wells with Luton Town for 2025/26, rather than Bristol City. SalarySport says his last recorded Luton deal expired on 30 June 2026; the records cited here do not establish his status after that date.
AiScore’s player history lists an estimated £25,000 a week for Wells at Luton in 2025/26. That is a separate club-and-season entry, not a Bristol City wage.

A Bristol City list published by Interesting Football on 3 August 2025 and labeled 2025/26 includes Wells at £27,000 a week. Its roster conflicts with the player histories placing him at Luton, so that listing alone does not establish that Wells was a Bristol City player or that the estimate applied to him in that season. They support a historical estimate for Wells, but not a reliable comparison of every striker at the club.
