SadaPay announced in January 2026 that Nadeem Hussain had joined the company as a strategic advisor. The company said he would advise on strategy, ecosystem partnerships, risk and governance, and help it make clearer, faster decisions as it scales. It has not disclosed the role’s duration, compensation, formal authority or measurable results.
What will Nadeem Hussain do at SadaPay?
SadaPay’s announcement describes an advisory remit spanning four areas: company strategy, partnerships across the financial ecosystem, risk, and governance. It also says Hussain will help the company make decisions faster and more clearly as it grows. SadaPay’s announcement framed that work around its aim to build financial products for Pakistan that are “simple, reliable, and fair.”
Those are the company’s stated expectations for the appointment, not evidence that Hussain has already changed SadaPay’s strategy, controls or performance. The public material does not specify particular projects, reporting lines or decision-making powers.
Who is Nadeem Hussain?
SadaPay and ProPakistani describe Hussain as the founder of Tameer Microfinance Bank and associate his work with EasyPaisa. SadaPay’s later post also says he runs Planet N and chairs the Pakistan Fintech Network. These are the career details the company cited to explain the fit; the announcement is not a full account of his career or an independent assessment of his work.

The connection SadaPay draws is experience building financial services and participating in Pakistan’s fintech ecosystem. In a July–August 2025 interview with ICMA, Hussain described the ecosystem as moving from experimentation to early maturity and discussed mobile payments, digital banks and financial inclusion. That was his view at the time, rather than a current market measurement or forecast.
When did Hussain become SadaPay’s advisor?
SadaPay announced the appointment in January 2026. ProPakistani reported it on January 13, 2026. In a later post, SadaPay said Hussain visited its office, took part in a town hall and shared his perspective on building in Pakistan’s financial landscape. That indicates subsequent engagement, but does not establish when a contract began or how long the advisory role will last.
