NABARD’s 2024 Office Attendant application window is closed. The bank accepted applications and online fee payments from 2 October to 21 October 2024; the online examination was held on 21 November 2024. This guide summarizes the historical notice and points candidates to NABARD’s official career notices for later updates.
What the 2024 recruitment notice offered
The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) advertised 108 Office Attendant vacancies in its Group C subordinate service. The advertisement described NABARD as wholly owned by the Government of India. Vacancies were spread across 27 state or office locations, and candidates could apply for vacancies in only one state. NABARD reserved the right to change vacancies or recruitment details, or to stall or cancel the recruitment.

Among the locations highlighted in the notice, Maharashtra had 35 vacancies, including the Mumbai head office; Karnataka had 8 and Uttar Pradesh had 5. These figures are the advertised allocation, not confirmation of openings in a later recruitment cycle. The advertisement stated that applications had to be submitted online on NABARD’s website during the stated window. NABARD later confirmed that the online examination took place on 21 November 2024. Its subsequent notice said the LPT was qualifying and was scheduled at the regional office opted for by candidates.

Who was eligible to apply
The notice set baseline eligibility conditions; meeting them alone did not guarantee selection. Applicants needed to satisfy the conditions and provide acceptable documents for eligibility and any category claims.
- Education: Completion of 10th standard from a recognized board.
- Age: 18–30 years as of 1 October 2024.
- Local language: Proficiency in the local language of the state for which the candidate applied.
The advertisement also set out category-specific age relaxations and other conditions. Those vary by eligibility category, so candidates should consult the notice rather than assume one blanket relaxation applies.
How selection worked
Objective online test
The test covered reasoning, English, general awareness and numerical ability. The notice specified 30 questions and 30 marks each for reasoning, English and numerical ability. Language Proficiency Test and later checks
The LPT was qualifying, rather than a substitute for the objective test. NABARD’s later notice identified candidates provisionally shortlisted by regional office and made that shortlisting subject to biometric verification, the LPT, medical fitness and documents establishing eligibility and category claims. The notice does not, by itself, establish a final selection tally for each region.

The career listing includes selected- and waitlisted-candidate notices for this recruitment, but candidates should consult the specific notice applicable to them rather than infer an individual outcome from the vacancy or provisional-shortlist figures.
