Is the MSEDCL Junior Assistant (Accounts) admit card still available?
No. MSEDCL’s official notice said candidates could download the call letter from October 8 through October 18, 2024. What was the exam schedule?
The original 2023 advertisement described February/March 2024 as a tentative period for the online examination. MSEDCL’s recruitment index later listed a notice dated September 24, 2024, titled “MSEDCL NOTIFICATION – ADVT. NO. 05/2023, 07/2023 & 08/2023 – Regarding Online Examination Schedule.” These are different notices: the earlier months were tentative, while the later notice concerned the updated schedule. Your date, reporting time and venue
MSEDCL’s candidate handout directed applicants to their own call letter for the examination date, reporting time and venue. There was not one common appointment time applicable to all candidates. Because the recruitment has concluded, candidates who need to verify an old appointment should use their saved call letter or contact MSEDCL through its official channels.

The MSEDCL Advt. No. 05/2023 information handout instructed candidates to bring the call letter with a recent passport-size photograph pasted on it, a photocopy of an accepted photo ID, and the original of that same ID. It also said to bring a ball point pen. The handout’s exact instruction was: “The call letter should be brought with you to the examination venue along with your recent passport size photograph duly pasted on it.” MSEDCL recruitment notices and candidate handout
Photo identification listed in the handout
- PAN card
- Passport
- Permanent driving licence
- Voter card with photograph
- Bank passbook with photograph
- Recent recognized college or university identity card
- Aadhaar or e-Aadhaar with photograph
- Bar Council identity card with photograph
The handout specifically said ration cards and learner’s driving licences would not be accepted. It also prohibited electronic devices, including mobile phones and digital watches. These were instructions for this recruitment’s examination; the candidate handout and individual call letter were the governing documents for each candidate.

Recruitment outcome and test format
MSEDCL published a results notice covering this recruitment on January 14, 2025, including a combined select list for Junior Assistant (Accounts) direct recruitment. The call-letter and examination stages are therefore part of a completed recruitment process. MSEDCL recruitment notices
For Advt. No. 05/2023, MSEDCL’s advertisement said selection would be based on the online test, with no interview. It described a test total of 150 marks and conversion of those marks to 100 for preparing results.
