MPESB Group 5 recruitment 2024 applications are closed, the exam was held in February 2025, and the result was published on 29 April 2025. The “1170 posts” figure described the initial announcement; a revised Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) seat matrix dated 14 February 2025 lists 3,060 posts across its entries.

Is MPESB Group 5 2024 registration still open?

No. The application window for the MPESB Group-5 Staff Nurse, Paramedical and Other Post Combined Recruitment Test 2024 ended in January 2025. The revised rulebook gave 13 January 2025 as the original last date, while the official examination schedule later displayed a revised submission end date of 16 January 2025. The rulebook set 18 January 2025 as the correction deadline.

These dates are historical, not a current opportunity to apply. The original rulebook is available from MPESB’s 2024 recruitment rulebook; the later date appears on the official examination schedule.

What is the MPESB Group 5 exam and result status?

MPESB scheduled the examination for 15–25 February 2025. Its schedule described the dates as tentative pending approval. The board’s result index records that the result was hosted on 29 April 2025 at 6:15 PM and lists merit-list, waiting-list and marks-related materials.

For result, merit-list, waiting-list or marks information, use the MPESB results index and select the relevant Group 5 2024 material. It is the official destination for those records.

Were there 1,170 or 3,060 vacancies?

The figures refer to different stages of the recruitment information, so they should not be treated as interchangeable. Careers360 reported 1,170 posts in its 31 December 2024 coverage of the initial announcement. MPESB’s revised seat-matrix pages, dated 14 February 2025, show entries totaling 3,060 posts.

Figure What it represents Source and date
1,170 posts Initial publicized vacancy count Careers360, 31 December 2024; contemporaneous report
3,060 posts Total across entries in the revised seat matrix MPESB, revised rulebook pages dated 14 February 2025; revised seat matrix

The later total is what the cited revised matrix lists; seat matrices can be updated, so it should not be read as a claim about every subsequent notice.

What were the application fees?

The rulebook’s fees were terms for this completed recruitment cycle, not charges payable now. It listed ₹500 per paper for unreserved applicants and ₹250 per paper for specified Madhya Pradesh resident SC, ST, OBC, EWS and persons with disabilities applicants. The fee was waived for direct backlog posts. Portal charges were ₹60 for kiosk submissions and ₹20 for registered citizen users.
