The MPESB Forest Guard, Field Guard and Jail Prahari admit card release covered a completed 2023 recruitment cycle. Scroll reported on May 18, 2023 that candidates could use the official board website and the Group-2 (Sub Group-4) admit-card link; the reported exam window was May 25 to June 20, 2023. That old release should not be treated as a current admit-card notice.
What the 2023 MPESB admit-card notice covered
Scroll Staff reported on May 18, 2023 that the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) had released admit cards for the combined recruitment exam for Forest Guard (Van Rakshak), Field Guard (Kshetra Rakshak) and Jail Prahari. The report directed candidates to the official board website, esb.mp.gov.in. Read Scroll’s May 18, 2023 announcement.
The recruitment drive was reported as having 2,112 vacancies: 1,772 Forest Guards, 140 Field Guards and 200 Jail Praharis. These figures are attributed to Scroll’s 2023 report and are not independently confirmed here against the official schedule PDF.
How candidates were told to download the card in 2023
- Visit the MPESB website at esb.mp.gov.in.
- Choose the Group-2 (Sub Group-4) admit-card link.
- Enter the application number and date of birth.
- Submit the details to display the admit card.
- Download and print the displayed card.
These are the steps reported for the 2023 release. They do not establish that the old link, sign-in form or candidate record remains available now.
Exam dates and selection stages reported
Scroll reported that the examination period ran from May 25 to June 20, 2023. The announcement described a written examination followed by physical tests. The exam window has passed; this schedule is historical, not a current MPESB date notice.
MPESB’s official 2023 exam schedule PDF was identified in search results as including an entry for the combined Van Rakshak, Kshetra Rakshak and Jail Prahari recruitment test. The PDF could not be opened, so it does not establish additional dates or admit-card details here.

Use the current MPESB website and the notice for the relevant recruitment cycle. The 2023 announcement does not establish whether a candidate can retrieve a lost 2023 card today, and its instructions should not be used as a substitute for current-cycle directions or exam-day rules.
