The Board’s historical index lists earlier tests separately, including “Middle and Primary School Teacher Eligibility Test – 2023” and “Middle School Teacher Eligibility Test – 2018.” Those archived listings are not the current 2026 test. Compare the year, official title and rulebook revision before following information from an older guide.
Where to check the official application and rulebook
- Open the MPESB official website and locate the 2026 teacher eligibility test in its current updates or student dashboard.
- Open the 2026 listing titled “Eligibility Test 2026 for Teachers Teaching in Primary and Secondary Classes.”
- Read the latest notice for any revised application dates, then consult the rulebook marked “Revised As on 04092026.”
The older web address in the search phrase, peb.mponline.gov.in, should not be treated as proof that an application window is currently open. Use MPESB’s current listing and notices to confirm status.

What to verify before relying on an application guide
The revised rulebook is the appropriate source for the test’s detailed requirements. The official listing information available here does not establish the application fee, qualifications, age criteria, category concessions, identity-document requirements or paper structure. Check each item in the full revised rulebook or the live official application page; do not carry figures or instructions forward from the 2018 or 2023 tests.
