Monis Rahman’s account of Rozee.pk begins with a hiring problem at Naseeb Networks: he needed a better way to recruit, built a job-posting website, and found that other employers wanted to use it too. He says Rozee eventually became the company’s primary business. Chalo.pk was a different kind of experiment, aimed at helping small businesses reach local customers. The story connects three ventures, but the available accounts do not establish that all three operate today.

How Rozee grew out of Naseeb Networks

ROZEE.PK identifies itself as a service of Naseeb Networks, Inc., and names Monis Rahman as the network’s president and CEO on its About page. That page also describes Rahman’s background: it says he began his career at Intel, earned an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and completed graduate work at Stanford. These are biographical claims made by the company.

Rahman’s explanation of Rozee’s origin comes from a 2014 TechJuice interview. He recalled returning to Pakistan and founding Naseeb.com, then struggling to recruit people for Naseeb Networks. He built a website to post job openings. Other companies began submitting vacancies, and, in his account, the hiring service grew until it became the network’s primary business. This is a founder’s retrospective account, not an independently verified chronology or market ranking.

How the three ventures differed

Venture Purpose in the available accounts Evidence and timeframe
Naseeb An online community and social-networking service, according to the company background and Rahman’s account. Company About page and Rahman’s 2014 interview.
Rozee.pk A recruitment platform connecting employers and job seekers; Rahman says it grew from Naseeb Networks’ hiring needs. Company About page and Rahman’s 2014 account; later figures are from his 2019 interview.
Chalo.pk An experiment in local promotion and mapping intended to help small and medium-sized businesses reach consumers. Rahman’s 2014 interview. The account does not establish current operation.

These descriptions show different aims, not directly comparable products or businesses. The sources do not support a current comparison of their reach, performance, or operating status.

What Chalo.pk was intended to do

In the same 2014 TechJuice interview, Rahman described Chalo as an effort to help small and medium-sized businesses that could not afford conventional promotion. He discussed daily deals and loyalty cards, along with a local map database the team had spent two years building. He said it included addresses in planned Lahore housing societies and restaurant details.

Rahman also mentioned movie listings and a prospective purchase feature. Those remarks describe ideas or features discussed at the time; they do not confirm that every feature launched, or that any remains available. The available sources do not establish whether Chalo.pk operates now. They also do not support describing it primarily as a public-transport trip-planning service.

What Rahman reported about Rozee in 2019

An interview in the July–August 2019 issue of ICMA Pakistan provides a later snapshot of Rozee. Rahman described its aim as using technology to connect people with jobs. He said, “Over 1 million people have found jobs through ROZEE.PK.” In the same interview, he reported that the platform was used by over 65,000 employers and 9.5 million professionals, and that it processed “over 40,000 job application a day on ROZEE.PK.”

Rahman also said Rozee had received more than US$9 million in venture funding since the company started. All of these figures are his statements in that 2019 interview. They are historical, founder-reported numbers—not independently audited counts or verified present-day metrics.

What the accounts establish—and what they do not

Taken together, the sources document an evolution from Naseeb Networks’ internal recruiting need to a job platform that, according to Rahman, attracted outside employers and became its main business. They also record Chalo as a separate local-commerce experiment, with promotion, loyalty, and mapping among the ideas discussed in 2014. The Rozee company page establishes its stated relationship to Naseeb Networks, while the interviews supply Rahman’s account of how the ventures developed.

They do not verify every detail of the founder’s recollections independently, establish current Rozee usage or funding, or settle Chalo’s present availability. Readers should treat the 2019 metrics as a dated snapshot and Chalo’s described features as historical rather than as a current product listing.
