Moneytrackin’ was a web-based personal-finance tool for recording income and expenses, organizing transactions, and keeping track of budgets. Historical sources describe manual entry, tags, and ways to share money-saving advice. They do not establish whether the original service or old accounts are still accessible today.
What was Moneytrackin’?
Moneytrackin’ was an online personal-accounting and budgeting service. Users could enter income and expenses to see where money was going and organize their finances. A 2007 review described it as Spanish online accounting based on information users entered themselves; a 2009 Laboral Kutxa consumer article likewise presented it as a way to control spending and income.
Laboral Kutxa described it as “una herramienta online gratuita que te permite controlar fácilmente tus gastos e ingresos y compartir consejos para ahorrar, de forma totalmente anónima.” That is the bank’s description in its 2009 consumer guidance, not evidence of the service’s current price or availability.
Could it track expenses and income?
Yes. Historical descriptions say users recorded transactions manually and could label or tag them to organize spending. Laboral Kutxa’s article also describes comparing how expenses changed over time. These are period-specific descriptions, not confirmation that the features remain available.

Bank movement imports were not the same as automatic syncing
Laboral Kutxa discussed importing account movements from files available through that bank. This supports a narrower claim about file-based importing in that context; it does not establish automatic bank synchronization across banks or accounts.
What other features did historical sources report?
- A regional business-support profile described multiple accounts or projects, tagged transactions, collaborative budget use, a public API, and mobile applications.
- Period coverage reported social features for sharing, rating, and finding money-saving tips. A 2007 review also mentioned a community exchanging savings advice.
These accounts document what sources said about Moneytrackin’ at the time. They should not be read as a current feature list.

Can you still access an old Moneytrackin’ account?
It is not established whether the original Moneytrackin’ service is operating, whether legacy accounts can be accessed, or whether transaction data can be exported. An unsuccessful attempt to reach the original domain is inconclusive; it is not proof that the service has shut down. If you are trying to recover records, avoid entering credentials on a similarly named service and use only contact or recovery details you can independently verify as belonging to the original provider.

No. The historical Moneytrackin’ described in older sources should not be confused with Money Track at themoneytrack.com, described as a separate personal-finance app, or MoneyTrack at moneytrack.io, described as a directed-payment platform. Similar names alone do not establish a connection.
