The top prize is $1 million for each of up to six Division 1 winners; if seven or more win, they share a $6 million pool.
What is Millionaire Medley?
Lotterywest introduced Millionaire Medley in May 2024 as an update to Monday and Wednesday Lotto. The first draw was Monday 20 May 2024, following ticket availability from 7 May. The change added a Friday draw and increased prizes across divisions; Lotterywest said the game mechanics and odds remained the same as its predecessor. The launch release described it as a game available nationally, while Lotterywest is the Western Australian brand behind the offering. How do you play?
- Choose six numbers: Select six numbers from 1 to 45 for a standard game, either manually or using Lotterywest’s Slikpik.
- Choose your draw day or days: Entries can be for Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or multiple draws. Lotterywest lists a 6:00pm AWST entry close; check its live game page for current operational details.
- Buy through an official channel: Lotterywest offers entries through retail outlets, its website and app. Tickets start from $2, but the total depends on the play configuration. Consult the current game page and price guide for the exact cost.
In each draw, eight numbers are drawn from a barrel of 45. The first six are the winning numbers and the final two are supplementary numbers.
What are the odds of winning?
Lotterywest publishes approximate, rounded odds per standard game. Its current Millionaire Medley information, accessed in 2026, lists the following:

These are per-game odds, not odds for a whole multi-draw entry. Playing more draw days gives you additional games, each with the same odds. A System entry covers multiple number combinations, so it buys more games and costs more; it does not make any individual combination more likely to win. Lotterywest says no number strategy or skill changes the odds for a game. See its official odds and game information for current details.
How does the million-dollar prize work?
For Division 1, Lotterywest sets aside $1 million for each winner when there are one to six winners. If seven or more entries win Division 1, the $6 million pool is divided equally among them. Lotterywest’s example is seven winners receiving $857,142 each. The prize-pool arrangement is also set out in the Western Australian Government’s 2024 Gazette amendment to the authorized lotteries rules.

Does adding a Friday draw mean a better chance?
It gives players another weekly draw they can choose to enter, not better odds per game. The 2024 launch announcement said players could enter a single day or all three weekly draws. Entering more draws means buying more games, which increases the number of chances across those draws while increasing the total cost. The odds for each standard game remain 1 in 8,145,060 for Division 1.
