Reports put Jake Paul’s earnings from his November 15, 2024, fight with Mike Tyson at about $40 million and Tyson’s at about $20 million. Those were estimates, not officially disclosed purses or verified take-home amounts.
How much were Jake Paul and Mike Tyson reported to earn?

CBS News and the Associated Press likewise reported estimates of about $40 million for Paul and $20 million for Tyson. The figures were widely repeated, but neither fighter’s exact purse was publicly confirmed in the sources reporting them.
Why the purse figures are estimates, not confirmed pay
The evidence for the two amounts is not identical. Paul’s figure was connected to his own public remark about what he was there to make; that is not the same as independently verifying a contractual amount or settlement. Tyson’s figure was reported as an estimate attributed to Cejudo and other reporting, rather than a public statement from Tyson confirming his final pay.
CBS Sports reported that neither Most Valuable Promotions nor the Texas Athletic Commission disclosed the fighters’ purses. The Guardian also reported that the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation did not provide purse information in response to its public-information request. That does not establish that private contracts or records do not exist; it means the exact amounts were not established through those disclosures.

The Associated Press later reported an $18.1 million gate for the event, citing Most Valuable Promotions. A gate is ticket revenue attributed to the event; it is not the purse of either fighter and does not verify either estimate.

Netflix reported 65 million peak concurrent streams and an estimated average minute audience of 108 million live viewers globally. Those audience measures describe viewership, not the amounts paid to Paul or Tyson. They do not reveal how the event’s revenue was allocated.
