The advertised total—68,500 IP plus 50,000 USDT—combined separate reward pools and activities with different eligibility rules; it was not an unconditional giveaway.
What the MEXC promotion offered
Announced on February 12, 2025, the campaign combined three days of Launchpool staking with two weeks of Airdrop+ activities. MEXC’s campaign announcement and its February 11 press release described the headline rewards as 60,000 IP for Launchpool, plus 8,500 IP and 50,000 USDT across Airdrop+.

How the advertised reward amounts fit together
The 68,500 IP headline adds the 60,000 IP Launchpool pool to 8,500 IP allocated across Airdrop+ activities. The 50,000 USDT was a separate futures-trading prize pool, not part of the IP total. Within Airdrop+, the spot activity allocated 1,700 IP and referrals 1,200 IP; the campaign also described a social-media lucky draw with additional IP rewards. The announcement did not specify that lucky draw’s allocation in the campaign breakdown.
Pool totals describe maximum campaign allocations, not what any one participant was guaranteed to receive. Actual eligibility and individual rewards depended on the activity’s rules, qualifying volume or stake, ranking, caps, and—where stated—first-come availability.

Historical campaign timeline
MEXC’s campaign page listed deposits opening February 12, trading beginning February 13, and withdrawals opening February 14, all in 2025. These were dates in the expired promotion’s timeline, not guidance about current deposit, trading, or withdrawal availability.
How MEXC described Story (IP)
MEXC characterized Story as an internet-scale intellectual-property infrastructure project for licensing, monetization, and protection. Its announcement said creators could set usage terms covering fees, royalties, and AI use. Those are MEXC’s descriptions in a campaign notice, not independent evidence of the project’s performance or adoption.

The same February 2025 notice listed a total supply of 1,000,000,000 IP. That is the figure MEXC stated at the time; it should not be read as a freshly verified current token fact.
