Meezan Bank Saturday hours and effective date
Meezan’s notice, dated September 2, 2025, set Saturday public-dealing hours at 10:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., effective September 13, 2025. Read the bank’s notice.
Meezan’s branch-hours page also lists the Saturday schedule and says it applies only to branches operating on Saturdays. The page is dated September 13, 2024; the later 2025 notice establishes the effective date for the published hours, but neither page should be read as confirmation that a particular branch participates. Check Meezan’s branch-hours information.
How to check whether your branch is open
Before setting out, confirm that your specific branch is on the Saturday schedule and check for any date-specific change. Use Meezan’s official branch information or contact the branch directly. The published hours alone do not establish the current Saturday-opening status of every location, and no newer Meezan schedule after the September 2025 notice is established here.

This branch-by-branch distinction follows the State Bank of Pakistan’s rules. In BPRD Circular Letter No. 17 of 2022, SBP says banks may open selected branches on Saturdays according to business requirements, and requires them to submit and publish updated Saturday branch lists and display a prominent notice at each participating branch. Read SBP Circular Letter No. 17 of 2022.
How the HBL and UBL announcements differ
The three banks’ notices are not equivalent: Meezan published Saturday hours, HBL provides a dated list of Saturday-open branches, and UBL’s cited hours were a one-day extension for tax payments.

Dates matter when comparing these announcements. HBL’s March 2026 update is a branch list, while UBL’s May 30, 2026 hours apply to that particular Saturday. Neither establishes a standing schedule for all branches of those banks.
