The Grand Duchess is Home Depot’s Home Decorators Collection artificial Christmas tree, featured in the retailer’s 2026 holiday announcement in 7.5-foot and 9-foot versions. The new range adds Hubspace app integration, and Home Depot also highlights memory wire and Quick Set assembly features. Listings show full and slim shapes, green and flocked finishes, and additional heights; compare the live options against your room and budget before buying.
What is the Grand Duchess Christmas tree?
The Grand Duchess is a line of pre-lit artificial trees sold by The Home Depot under its Home Decorators Collection. In its September 29, 2026 holiday announcement, Home Depot singled out 7.5-foot and 9-foot Grand Duchess trees as part of the season’s collection. The retailer’s announcement is about the 2026 range, not evidence that these are the only heights available.
Home Depot merchant of decorative holiday Aubrey Horowitz described the wider collection as bringing “innovation, quality and value” across price points and home types. That is the retailer’s characterization, not an independent assessment of the tree’s quality or value.
What is new in the 2026 range?
Hubspace app integration
Home Depot says the 2026 collection adds Hubspace integration so customers can customize holiday displays from a smartphone. The announcement does not specify the full control options for each Grand Duchess model, so check the individual product listing for the precise lighting and app functions included with the version you are considering.

| Choice | What to consider |
|---|---|
| Height | Measure ceiling height and allow clearance for the tree topper and any stand or base. The listed 7.5-, 9-, 12- and 15-foot options are examples shown in Home Depot listings, not a guarantee that every height is currently in stock. |
| Full or slim | Compare the listed width or footprint with the space available around the tree. A slim silhouette may suit a tighter area; a full shape occupies more floor space. |
| Green or flocked | Choose based on the look you want and how it fits your décor. Flocked trees have a snow-dusted appearance; the listings establish that both looks are offered, not that one is better for a particular home. |
| Lighting and app features | Check the individual model page for lighting details and the Hubspace functions it supports rather than assuming every version has identical controls. |
Price and availability
Home Depot’s category listings include model numbers and listed prices, but prices and availability can change. The retailer’s September 29 announcement says holiday décor would begin rolling out in stores nationwide on October 5, 2026, with the collection available online. Check the live product listing and your local store for current price, delivery or pickup options, and stock.
