Forbes reported $30 million in “2017 Earnings” for Skrillex, naming “Music, Touring” as the sources and ranking him No. 4 on its highest-paid-DJs list. Skrillex is Sonny John Moore, born January 15, 1988, in Los Angeles. The Recording Academy’s artist profile traces several milestones: Bangarang reached No. 14 on the Billboard 200, his debut full-length album Recess peaked at No. 4, and “Where Are Ü Now,” recorded with Diplo and Justin Bieber, became his first Top 10 hit.
