Fintopio is a crypto wallet platform available through Telegram and the web, but it does not use just one custody model. Its May 2025 terms describe a non-custodial DeFi wallet, where users control their private keys, as well as custodial CeFi services provided through a third party. The distinction affects who holds the keys, whether identity verification is required and who is responsible for recovery.
How does Fintopio work?
Fintopio’s product page describes access through Telegram and its website. It lists functions including sending and receiving crypto, swapping assets, importing an existing wallet, and viewing balances and transaction records. Its May 2025 terms also describe DeFi features for managing a wallet, tracking a portfolio and connecting to third-party decentralized apps and exchanges (DApps and DEXs). Product details and instructions may change, so check the current official app before acting.
The product page’s wallet-import instructions call for a 12-word secret phrase. That phrase is a sensitive credential: entering it can give the destination wallet control of the assets. Only enter it into an authentic wallet you have independently verified, and never share it with someone claiming to provide support.
Is Fintopio custodial or non-custodial?
It offers both models, according to the May 2025 terms. In the DeFi wallet, the user controls the private keys. In the CeFi service, the designated provider holds and manages keys. CeFi use requires identity verification (KYC). These are different services, so check which model applies before depositing funds.

Which cryptocurrencies does Fintopio list?
Fintopio’s May 2025 terms list the following assets and networks. This is not a guarantee that every asset or feature is currently available in every account or location; confirm the exact asset and network in the app before sending.

The terms also warn that some ERC-20 tokens may be unsupported at times. A familiar token name alone is not enough to ensure a transfer will arrive: the sending and receiving network must match what the wallet supports.

How do you back up and recover a Fintopio wallet?
For a non-custodial wallet, recovery is the user’s responsibility. Fintopio’s terms say it cannot restore access if the user loses the recovery phrase; losing it may mean losing access to the wallet and assets. The terms describe encrypted backup through iCloud or Google Drive and recommend writing the phrase down and storing it securely.
- Keep the phrase private. Anyone who obtains it may be able to control the wallet.
- Use only a backup method you understand and can access securely; cloud backup does not remove the need to protect account access.
- Do not assume Fintopio can reset a lost phrase or recover a self-custody wallet.
What fees and location restrictions should users check?
Fees depend on the transaction and provider. Fintopio’s terms say charges may include blockchain network or gas fees, swap or trade transaction fees, and card or bank charges. Network fees go to the blockchain network, not Fintopio. The terms say Fintopio does not currently charge service or handling fees for DApp/DEX use, while reserving the right to change that. Review the fee display before confirming any transaction.

Availability also depends on the service and location. The terms prohibit use where virtual-asset services are prohibited or Telegram is unavailable or banned. CeFi requires KYC. Fintopio’s official channel names MoonPay as its ramp provider and advises users to check the provider’s country coverage; that does not establish that every Fintopio feature or MoonPay service is available to every user.
