The Pokémon Happy Meal promotion announced for January 21 was a U.S. offer that began on January 21, 2025—not a new upcoming release. McDonald’s said participating U.S. restaurants would offer it for a limited time, while supplies lasted. The announcement does not confirm whether any location has stock now.
What came in the 2025 Pokémon Happy Meal?
McDonald’s said each meal included a Pokémon Trading Card Game booster pack, a Pokémon poster and a sticker sheet. The booster pack contained four cards selected from 15 available card types; the announcement did not promise a particular card or a complete set.
The meal came in one of four themed boxes: Charizard; Pikachu and Dragonite together; Rayquaza; or Roaring Moon.
How did the Pokémon TCG Pocket app reward work?
For Happy Meals ordered through the McDonald’s app during the 2025 promotion, McDonald’s announced a code for 24 pack hourglasses and 12 wonder hourglasses in Pokémon TCG Pocket. The stated steps were:

- Redeem the code sent by email in Pokémon TCG Pocket.
The offer was limited to one code per Pokémon TCG Pocket player account. These were the terms announced for the 2025 promotion, not confirmation that a code can still be obtained or redeemed.
Is the Pokémon Happy Meal available now?
The U.S. announcement described a limited-time promotion at participating restaurants, while supplies lasted. It does not establish current availability or leftover stock at any particular location, so check with a local restaurant if you want to know whether it has any remaining items.

Why do dates and Pokémon Happy Meal contents differ by country?
The January 21 promotion was announced by McDonald’s USA for participating U.S. restaurants. Japan had separate promotions with different dates and contents; those offers are not part of the U.S. meal.
