McDonald’s announced a free, limited-edition McNugget Caviar kit for Valentine’s Day 2026, but the giveaway was a one-time online drop—not a restaurant menu item. The kits were scheduled to go live February 10 at 11 a.m. ET and sold out that day, according to ABC News.
What was in the McDonald’s McNugget Caviar kit?
McDonald’s said each kit paired Chicken McNuggets with Baerii sturgeon caviar supplied by Paramount Caviar. The announced kit contents were:
- One-ounce tin of caviar
- $25 McDonald’s Arch Card
- Crème fraîche
- Mother of Pearl caviar spoon
The company described the giveaway as free of charge and limited-edition. The announcement did not say that McNuggets themselves were included in the kit.
When did the kits drop, and where were they available?
McDonald’s announced the promotion on February 2, 2026. It scheduled the online-only release for Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 11 a.m. ET through McNuggetCaviar.com. The kits were not sold at McDonald’s restaurants.

AP also estimated that amount was roughly the cost of 166 Chicken McNuggets. Both figures are dated comparisons from that report, not current prices or a stated cash value for the kit. McDonald’s called the caviar Baerii sturgeon; AP described it as Siberian sturgeon.
