Massey Ferguson announced its MF 500R Series self-propelled sprayer for North America on August 23, 2023. The lineup has two models: the MF 525R, rated at 212 hp with a 740-gallon product tank, and the MF 530R, rated at 235 hp with an 860-gallon tank. Those are launch-era specifications, not a current offer or confirmation of dealer stock; check with a local Massey Ferguson dealer for today’s pricing, configuration and delivery timing.
What is the difference between the MF 525R and MF 530R?
AGCO’s August 23, 2023 launch announcement distinguishes the models by product-tank capacity and engine horsepower. Successful Farming’s August 29, 2023 report adds standard tire sizes.

Both models are described by AGCO as having a 7.4-liter AGCO Power engine, standard all-wheel drive (AWD), and a modified carbon-steel flexible chassis. AGCO calls the frame non-welded.
The larger tank and higher horsepower of the MF 530R are not, by themselves, enough to establish which model is the better fit. Compare application needs, field conditions, tire fit, boom configuration, local service support and total cost with a dealer.

What features and capacities were reported for the 500R?
AGCO specifies LiquidLogic as standard equipment and says the system primes in 50 seconds, with product recirculating through the tank and boom. The company also specifies 36 individually controlled boom sections.

These figures are reported specifications, not a substitute for confirming the configuration of a particular machine. Ask the dealer to verify the equipment and capacities for the region and build being quoted.
What does AGCO claim about LiquidLogic and operating costs?
AGCO presents LiquidLogic and section control as tools for precise application and reduced chemical waste, and describes the sprayer as offering efficiency, sustainability and return on investment. Those are manufacturer claims; the launch materials do not provide independent test results or a named statistical study establishing a particular savings or return for buyers.

In AGCO’s August 23, 2023 release, Darren Parker, vice president of Massey Ferguson North America, said farmers need “a robust, entry-level spraying solution that provides fast ROI and a low total cost of ownership.” This describes the product’s target positioning, not evidence that customers achieved a specific return.

At launch, AGCO said it was accepting orders for 2024 through select dealers. Successful Farming reported that first North American arrivals were planned for the first quarter of 2024, followed by broader availability. Those are historical plans and do not establish current inventory, pricing, regional configurations or delivery dates.
