What comes with the game, and what is optional?
The direct product is Mario Kart World for Nintendo Switch 2, available as a physical edition according to Nintendo’s U.S. listing. The Joy-Con 2 Wheel is an optional motion-control accessory; it is not required for standard racing. A Nintendo Switch 2 Camera or compatible USB-C camera is relevant if you want to use camera features such as CameraPlay or video chat, and is sold separately. Nintendo describes these options on its Switch 2 accessories page and Mario Kart World site.

The game’s listed MSRP is only one part of a household’s possible spending. A buyer who already owns a Switch 2 and plans to play alone or locally may not need the online membership or optional accessories. Online multiplayer has the membership and connection requirements above; camera features and motion-control steering may entail separate accessory purchases. Verify the current price and availability of any additional item with Nintendo or the retailer before buying.
