Tom’s Guide’s Mario Day roundup was a limited-time U.S. deal list published March 10, 2026—not a live sale page. It covered games, a Nintendo Switch 2 bundle, accessories, Lego sets, toys and a 4K movie edition. Its listed prices and savings are historical snapshots, so check current retailer listings before budgeting for a purchase.
What the Mario Day roundup covered
Tom’s Guide grouped 31 savings under “Mar10,” its name for Mario Day. The offers spanned both digital-era gaming essentials and non-game merchandise: Switch titles, a console bundle, accessories, Lego builds, toys, plush and a movie edition. The article said the event was already half over and that deals would last only a few more hours; that urgency applied on March 10, not now. Read the original Tom’s Guide roundup.
The roundup disclosed that Tom’s Guide may earn a commission when readers buy through its links. That disclosure is relevant when using shopping coverage, but it does not establish that a listed price is still available or that the item is the best current value.
Featured hardware and game prices were time-specific
The centerpiece hardware offer was a Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle listed at $499. Tom’s Guide estimated that it saved about $30 compared with buying the console and game separately. That was the roundup’s March 10, 2026 comparison, not a current price check.

It described the Hori Piranha Plant Cam for Switch 2 as a 480p camera that works with Super Mario Party Jamboree and Mario Kart World. For storage, it noted that Switch 2 is compatible only with microSD Express cards.

How to use an old deal roundup without overspending
- Treat every listed amount as a dated reference. The prices above come from Tom’s Guide’s March 10, 2026 roundup; they do not show today’s price, stock or shipping cost.
- Compare the exact item and edition. Check whether a game is for Switch or Switch 2, and whether a bundle includes the game or hardware you actually want.
- Calculate the full purchase cost. Add shipping and tax, and compare the total with the retailer’s current price and other sellers’ current listings.
- Buy for a real use, not a percentage-off label. A lower price is not a saving if the purchase was not in your budget or the product does not fit your console, play style or household.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
