A computer left to stream OBS for 30 days consumes electricity, risks thermal damage, and stops whenever an update reboots the system. A replay stream from the cloud requires none of that. SEO benefits are less direct but real. Queries like “lofi stream now” or “sleep music 24/7” are typically performed late at night, and an always-on channel has better odds of being available and recommended. Search traffic is supplemented by browser bookmarks and repeat visits from viewers who know the channel is always streaming.

Avoiding the Pitfalls
The main failure mode is boring content. A replay stream must be engaging enough that viewers stay even though they might see the same segment twice. This requires high production value and careful curation.
