What the announcement confirms
The Linux Foundation announced LY Corporation’s Gold membership on April 15, 2025. Its 2025 annual report later included LY in its Gold-member list. That report is confirmation of the listing in the 2025 report, not evidence of LY’s status on a live 2026 membership roster.
The announcement describes the Linux Foundation as having more than 1,000 member organizations across the Foundation and the open-source projects it hosts. That is the Foundation’s figure as stated in the April 15, 2025 announcement, not a current membership count.

LY said its aims were to engage more deeply with the open-source community, contribute to key projects and draw on the Foundation’s expertise to enhance its open-source initiatives. These are the company’s stated intentions, not a record of outcomes established by the announcement or the annual report.
