Luke Littler won the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship and the advertised champion’s prize was £1 million. That is the gross tournament award—not a verified estimate of what he keeps after tax or other personal deductions.
How much was Luke Littler’s 2026 world title prize?
The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) announced a £1 million prize for the champion of the 2025/26 Paddy Power World Darts Championship, part of a £5 million total prize fund for the 128-player event. The PDC’s announcement set out those tournament figures. PDC Europe also confirmed the £1 million top prize. PDC Europe’s announcement
Littler retained the title by beating Gian van Veen 7–1 in the final at Alexandra Palace. BBC Sport reported the result and the £1 million prize.
Does “take home” mean £1 million after tax?
No. The £1 million is the advertised tournament prize, or gross award. The available reporting does not establish Littler’s tax bill, deductions or personal financial arrangements, so it cannot support a reliable after-tax figure. Calling £1 million his net income would go beyond what the prize announcement confirms.

Is his reported sponsorship deal part of the prize?
No. The championship prize and a separately reported Target Darts sponsorship valuation describe different kinds of money and should not be added together as immediate take-home income.
The Associated Press reported, attributing the figure to the Press Association, that the 10-year deal was valued at £20 million. AP said the parties did not disclose the figures; the reported valuation included potential earnings, bonuses and a percentage of product sales. It is therefore an attributed estimate of a long-term commercial deal, not an official disclosed contract amount or a confirmed cash payment. Associated Press report
