Look North World announced an additional $2.25 million in seed funding on July 24, 2024, bringing its stated seed total to $4.5 million. The company said it would use the capital to accelerate original games while continuing to build games on user-generated-content platforms. The announcement also introduced its Creator Label, a support program for selected creators.
How much did Look North World raise?
The company said it raised an additional $2.25 million, bringing its total seed funding to $4.5 million. London Venture Partners led the round. Participants named in the July 24, 2024 announcement were Bandai Namco Entertainment 021 Fund, Overwolf, Crush Ventures, Hasbro, PixCapital and returning investor Hibbard Road Partners. Look North World’s announcement is the clearest source for the amount: GamesBeat’s headline also reports $2.25 million, but a sentence in its article body says $2.5 million. GamesBeat’s report therefore contains an internal discrepancy.
What is Look North World?
Look North World describes itself as a developer and publisher of games for creator platforms. Its work includes Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and ARK: Survival Ascended, and the company was founded by Alexander Seropian. In the funding announcement, it said it had 15 games in development, including projects involving major intellectual-property deals. That number describes the pipeline as reported in July 2024; it is not a verified current count.
The company’s overview and press kit list Fortnite experiences including Dream Job Tycoon, Don’t Press The Button, CNTRL, Carrera Coast and Outlaw Corral, as well as ARK-related work. These titles illustrate the studio’s platform-based model; the available information does not provide comparable financial or player-performance figures for them.

What does the Creator Label offer?
Look North World presented its Creator Label as a curated program for individual creators making projects on Fortnite, Roblox and Minecraft. The company said signed creators would receive:
- Guaranteed advances
- Long-term ownership of their intellectual property
- Marketing budgets
- Artistic and technical support from a team of industry experts
Tom Jank and SightedSloth were the first creators named in the July 2024 announcement. The announcement describes the program’s stated benefits, but current application instructions, eligibility rules and whether those terms remain in effect are not established in the available company materials. It should not be taken as confirmation that applications are open.

Why build games on creator platforms?
UEFN lets developers create Fortnite experiences within Fortnite’s creator ecosystem. Look North World’s investor interview describes the studio as focused mainly on UEFN and discusses rapid, lower-cost production and distribution through creator platforms. Those are the interview’s account of the business model, not independently measured results. The funding announcement framed the investment as support for both original games and continued development on user-generated-content platforms.

The $4.5 million figure is the company’s reported cumulative seed total after the July 2024 raise, not a statement about its current cash balance or later fundraising. Likewise, the 15-game pipeline and the mention of major IP deals are claims made at announcement time; they do not establish which projects have since launched or remain in development. The announcement provides funding and program details, but not enough comparable data to assess the studio’s performance against other game developers.
