Lokesh Machines Limited disclosed on October 9, 2026, that it received an Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) order from the Regional Office, Pune, demanding ₹1,15,69,852—about ₹1.16 crore. The company filing describes the demand as relating to alleged differences in provident fund contributions for employees and trainees from October 2010 through January 2018. The order is a disputed contribution demand, not by itself a final court judgment or proof that the calculation is correct.

What is the EPFO order against Lokesh Machines?

The order was issued under the Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952. In its October 9, 2026 disclosure, Lokesh Machines described the issue as differences in PF contributions for employees, NEEM trainees and other trainees. The amount specified is ₹1,15,69,852. The company disclosure reproduced by BazaarWatch is the source for the amount, period and company’s stated position.

The filing describes what the authority is demanding; the available information does not independently establish the EPFO’s underlying calculation or resolve the dispute. Receipt of an order should not be treated as an admission by the company, a finding of intentional wrongdoing or a final judicial determination of liability.

What period does the PF demand cover?

The company says the alleged contribution differences relate to October 2010 to January 2018. That is the historical period stated in the disclosure; it does not describe alleged contribution differences in the current period.

What has Lokesh Machines said about the demand?

Lokesh Machines characterizes the matter as financial in nature. Based on its assessment and legal advice, the company says it believes it has a strong case on merits and does not expect a material financial or operational impact. Those are the company’s assessments, not an independent conclusion on the dispute or its eventual cost.

The company also said it was evaluating appropriate legal remedies. The disclosure does not establish that it subsequently filed an appeal or other challenge.

Has Lokesh Machines challenged the order or paid the dues?

The October 9, 2026 disclosure does not confirm whether the company later challenged the order, paid the demand, obtained interim relief, or whether EPFO modified or stayed it. For a later procedural update, check subsequent company and exchange announcements, including the Lokesh Machines corporate-announcement list. A contemporaneous ScanX report dated October 9, 2026 restates the disclosure but does not establish a later outcome.
