Reported 2025/26 salary estimates put Mohamed Salah top of Liverpool’s wage list at about £400,000 per week, followed by Virgil van Dijk at about £350,000. These are estimates from media and salary databases, not figures published by Liverpool as individual player salaries.
Reported Liverpool weekly wages for 2025/26
The table below follows The National’s ranking, which it says was compiled from reports, Capology and Spotrac. Its list was published ahead of the season and updated in August 2026. Treat entries below Salah and Van Dijk as that source’s estimates, not as a confirmed club payroll.
| Player | Reported weekly wage |
|---|---|
| Mohamed Salah | £400,000 |
| Virgil van Dijk | £350,000 |
| Florian Wirtz | £200,000 |
| Hugo Ekitike | £200,000 |
| Andy Robertson | £160,000 |
| Alexis Mac Allister | £150,000 |
| Ryan Gravenberch | £150,000 |
| Alisson Becker | £150,000 |
| Federico Chiesa | £150,000 |
| Cody Gakpo | £120,000 |
| Dominik Szoboszlai | £120,000 |
The National’s salary guide says Milos Kerkez’s weekly salary was unknown. Its list also predates Alexander Isak’s arrival, so it is not a complete end-of-window ranking.
Why reported figures differ
Salary databases and media reports do not agree on every player’s pay. Salah and Van Dijk are the consistent top two across the cited lists, but estimates for other players vary. For example, SalaryLeaks’ retrospective 2025/26 table lists Gravenberch at £280,000 per week, Isak at £250,000, and Gakpo at £200,000—different from The National’s estimates for Gravenberch and Gakpo. FBref’s Capology-attributed table puts Isak at £280,000 per week.

For Isak, The Guardian reported around £300,000 per week when Liverpool signed him on 1 September 2025. Later season estimates of £250,000 and £280,000 come from different providers and dates. None is a club-confirmed amount, so the figures should not be blended into one supposedly definitive ranking.

Liverpool’s official accounts for the year ended 31 May 2024 report £341.354 million in wages and salaries for staff and directors in aggregate. That historical company-wide figure does not disclose individual player pay for 2025/26 and is not directly comparable with the sum of online player estimates. Liverpool’s published accounts therefore provide context on overall wage costs, not a verified list of player wages.

SalaryLeaks describes entries marked “verified” as based on salary details reported by established journalists and media outlets. That is the provider’s description of its method; it does not independently establish that every displayed amount is exact.
