What Little Sunshine Spa offers
Little Sunshine Spa is a baby-focused service in Mount Hawthorn, Perth. PerthNow reported on July 22, 2024 that Skin Fairy owner Carmen McNamara created the spa and that it would begin welcoming babies on July 24. The spa currently describes two infant services: massage and hydrotherapy. At opening, PerthNow also reported that the business carried 11 organic skincare brands for infants and tweens. That figure describes the opening-era offering and does not establish the spa’s current retail inventory.
Age and weight eligibility
Little Sunshine Spa currently states that infant massage and hydrotherapy are available for babies aged one week to nine months. The spa says hydrotherapy neck floats are suitable only for infants up to 12 kg; babies above that weight can receive infant massage instead. What the spa says about staff and training
The business says its practitioners were trained by McNamara in the Infant Massage IAIM technique and hold formal first-aid certificates, Working with Children checks and police clearances. What to bring and expect at an appointment
- Bring your usual nappy-bag essentials, extra formula and a fresh nappy, as the spa advises.
- The spa says it provides swim nappies and has a feeding room with private booths and a microwave.

- For infant massage, the spa says it uses unscented, cold-pressed sunflower oil; it does not name a brand.
