It is usually a poor use of money for an inactive Page, a business without a clear offer, or an organization primarily trying to recruit.
LinkedIn does not publish a universal price or guarantee more reach, leads, or revenue. Check the price shown in your eligible Page’s purchase flow, use the one-month trial if offered, and cancel unless the incremental value exceeds the subscription and the time required to manage it.

What LinkedIn Premium Company Page is
Premium Company Page is a separate subscription for an organization’s LinkedIn Page. It is not the same as Premium Business, Premium Career, personal-profile Premium, Sales Navigator, Career Pages, or LinkedIn Ads. LinkedIn says the product is being rolled out gradually, so eligibility and available features can vary by Page, account, admin role, region, device, and trial status. See LinkedIn’s current Premium Company Page documentation.
Recommended Free Tools
The subscription is most useful as a conversion and administration layer around an audience you already have. It is not a guaranteed demand generator. The gold “IN” logo, for example, may improve presentation, but there is no official guarantee that it will increase organic distribution or sales.

What you get beyond a free Page
| Feature | What it does | Best use | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Verification eligibility | Makes the Page eligible to request verification. | Distinguishing the official Page from similarly named organizations. | Eligibility does not guarantee approval or a badge. See LinkedIn’s verification guidance. |
| Custom CTA | Sends visitors to an action such as booking a consultation, requesting a quote, or viewing services. | Businesses with a focused landing page and tracking. | A generic homepage and unclear offer make the feature difficult to evaluate. |
| Page visitors | Shows information about eligible visitors, subject to LinkedIn’s privacy rules. | Identifying possible audience and sales signals. | Not every visitor is revealed, and a visit is not buying intent. |
| Testimonials | Displays customer social proof. | Consultants, agencies, and other service firms. | Generic praise is less persuasive than a specific result or problem solved. |
| Credibility highlights | Emphasizes trust-building information about the organization. | Smaller or newer businesses. | LinkedIn does not promise a specific conversion or ranking benefit. |
| AI post assistance | Helps draft Page posts. | Small teams that need drafting speed. | It does not replace original expertise, editing, fact-checking, or strategy. |
| Automatic invitations | Invites engaged members and, where available, followers of similar Pages. | Active Pages with regular engagement. | More followers do not necessarily mean more qualified customers. |
| Dynamic cover images | Adds a more active visual presentation to the Page header. | Brands running campaigns or changing offers. | Limited value if the Page receives little traffic. |
| Service requests | Can help eligible service providers receive matching requests and promote a Request Services button. | Consultants, agencies, freelancers, and professional-service firms. | Requests have little value without fast, capable follow-up. |
| Gold LinkedIn logo | Signals that the Page has Premium. | Brand presentation. | It is not proof of quality or a lead-generation mechanism. |
LinkedIn’s feature overview describes the current functionality, but access can change as LinkedIn expands or tests the product.
Who should get Premium Company Page?
Service businesses, consultants, and agencies
This is the strongest use case. A marketing agency, IT consultancy, accounting firm, recruiter, coach, or specialist freelancer can connect Page traffic to a consultation, quote request, or service inquiry. The CTA, testimonial, visitor information, and service-request tools all support that path.
The subscription is easier to justify when the business knows the value of a qualified opportunity. If one additional LinkedIn-sourced client produces substantially more gross profit than the subscription and follow-up costs, the economics may work.

Pages that already have an audience
Premium can help convert existing attention. Look for recurring Page visitors, meaningful engagement, follower growth, or service inquiries. If nobody visits the Page, premium features have little traffic to work on.
Organizations with an identifiable trust problem
Verification eligibility may be useful when an organization has a common name, regional entities, or a meaningful risk of being confused with another Page. It should be treated as an identity and credibility aid—not a guarantee of trust, quality, or revenue.
Small teams that need operational efficiency
Automatic invitations and AI drafting may save time when a team already publishes and receives engagement but lacks capacity for repetitive administration. Time saved is worth measuring alongside leads and revenue.

Who should skip it or wait?
- Low-traffic Pages: Improve Page completeness, positioning, content, employee advocacy, website links, and posting consistency first.
- Businesses without a clear offer: A CTA cannot fix a Page that does not explain what it sells, who it serves, and what visitors should do next.
- Recruiting-first organizations: Career Pages are a separate product aimed at employer branding, culture, and job-seeker engagement.
- Sales teams seeking prospecting tools: Sales Navigator is the relevant product for lead discovery, account research, saved leads, and sales workflows.
- Product companies seeking broad awareness: Premium is not a substitute for product marketing, partnerships, paid distribution, or a strong content strategy.
- Teams with no follow-up owner: Visitor signals and service requests are wasted if nobody responds and qualifies them.
- Anyone buying for an advertising credit: The LinkedIn Ads credit ended for new Premium Company Page trials and purchases after February 28, 2025. Older articles may be out of date. See LinkedIn’s credit guidance.
Pricing, trials, and billing
There is no single public price that applies to every Premium Company Page. LinkedIn directs administrators to open the purchase flow and view the price for their account. The amount may vary by country, currency, billing cycle, eligibility, and promotion. Do not rely on an article quoting one universal monthly price.
Monthly and annual billing are available, subject to LinkedIn’s current subscription rules. Review the total renewal cost and billing frequency before confirming. Billing-cycle information is covered in LinkedIn’s subscription guidance.
Some administrators of free Pages belonging to small-to-midsized organizations may receive a one-month free trial. Eligibility is not universal. LinkedIn says the trial begins on signup, requires payment details and a billing frequency, and may have feature or notification differences by account, region, device, language, and time zone. LinkedIn recommends signing up on desktop so expiry notifications are more likely to be received. Set your own calendar reminder at signup and again several days before renewal. See the trial terms and LinkedIn’s trial-use recommendations.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.How to test whether it pays for itself
Do not judge Premium solely by follower count. Run a controlled test instead.
Before subscribing
Record the previous 30 days of:
- Page views and unique visitors, where available;
- Follower growth;
- Post impressions and engagement;
- CTA clicks and service requests;
- Qualified inquiries and LinkedIn-attributed leads;
- Closed revenue or gross profit attributed to LinkedIn; and
- Administrator hours spent on invitations, drafting, and follow-up.
During the trial or first paid month
- Use one specific CTA, such as “Book a consultation” or “Request a quote.”
- Send visitors to a focused, UTM-tagged landing page rather than an undifferentiated homepage.
- Add a specific customer testimonial and complete the services information.
- Publish consistently enough to give new followers a reason to stay.
- Use invitations selectively for relevant engaged members.
- Record visitor follow-up in a CRM or simple spreadsheet.
- Classify inquiries as unqualified, marketing-qualified, sales-qualified, opportunity, or customer.
- Set a cancellation date before the trial ends.
Compare the incremental gross profit attributable to LinkedIn with the subscription cost, administration time, content costs, sales follow-up, and any landing-page or CRM costs. A useful result is not simply “we gained followers”; it is “we generated qualified opportunities at an acceptable cost” or “the automation saved enough staff time to justify the fee.” LinkedIn’s official materials do not establish a guaranteed conversion lift.

Admin and Page-specific rules
- The purchaser must be a Page super admin.
- Premium applies to one Page, not automatically to every Page the admin manages.
- Showcase Pages require a separate subscription from the parent Page.
- Other Page admins can generally use Premium features, but billing and cancellation remain tied to the purchasing admin.
- The subscription cannot simply be converted into another Premium subscription; cancel the existing plan before purchasing the alternative.
- The subscription is not currently transferable. Staff turnover may require cancellation and a new subscription by another eligible admin.
- If the Page is deactivated, the subscription remains active until the purchasing admin cancels it.
These rules make ownership important. Use a stable organizational account where possible and document who controls billing. For cancellation, LinkedIn says only the admin who purchased Premium Company Page can cancel it; the Page loses Premium features unless another admin subscribes. See LinkedIn’s cancellation guidance.
Better alternatives for different goals
| Your goal | Usually better fit |
|---|---|
| Build an audience while traffic is still low | Free LinkedIn Page plus clearer positioning and consistent content. |
| Reach a defined audience with predictable distribution | LinkedIn Ads. |
| Find prospects and research accounts | Sales Navigator. |
| Improve employer branding and recruiting visibility | Career Pages and relevant recruiting products. |
| Generate business from a founder or consultant’s personal network | Individual Premium, provided the personal profile—not the Page—is the main channel. |
| Fix weak measurement or poor conversion | A clearer service page, UTM tracking, CRM routing, case studies, and a lead-response process. |
LinkedIn distinguishes these products in its Premium accounts FAQ. Choosing the wrong product is a more expensive mistake than missing one Page feature.
