What to expect at Light Years Perth
Light Years describes itself as a modern Asian bar and diner built around share-style dining, cocktails and a lively, playful setting. The operator’s James Sutherland characterized the concept as bold-flavoured, contemporary food intended to be shared. That is the restaurant’s own positioning, not an independent assessment of the dining experience.
The venue describes itself as having 200 seats, with bar seating, booths and private dining. Design details in the opening announcement included custom furniture and feature lighting; Sarah Ellison described the intended result as “an elevated yet sexy venue.”
