Yes. LIC Housing Finance Limited (LIC HFL) had released the Junior Assistant 2024 admit card by September 3, 2024, according to Scroll’s report. The online exam was scheduled for September 15, 2024, so this is a historical notice—not a current download announcement. The old call-letter link is not confirmed to be active now.
Where candidates were directed to download the 2024 call letter
The contemporaneous instructions pointed candidates to LIC HFL’s official website, lichousing.com, and the Careers section. The route was Careers → Recruitment of Junior Assistants → admit-card link. That link led to an IBPS call-letter portal at the time. Neither the route nor the portal should be treated as a live service today.
- Visit LIC HFL’s official website and open Careers.
- Select Recruitment of Junior Assistants and follow the admit-card link, as directed for the 2024 cycle.
- Enter the requested login details, review the call letter, download it and print it.
These are the steps reported for the 2024 recruitment, not confirmation that the old link remains available. For a later recruitment cycle, check LIC HFL’s official website for a current notice rather than relying on a repost or the archived link.
2024 exam date and selection stages
Scroll reported that the online examination was set for September 15, 2024, and that 200 Junior Assistant vacancies were announced. The date has passed. The report said applicants would be shortlisted on the basis of the online examination and an interview.

What the 2024 online exam involved
LIC HFL’s 2024 information handout described a 200-question, 200-mark online test with a total duration of 120 minutes. Each of the five sections contained 40 questions.
| Section | Questions |
|---|---|
| English Language | 40 |
| Logical Reasoning | 40 |
| General Awareness, with special emphasis on the Housing Finance Industry | 40 |
| Numerical Ability | 40 |
| Computer Skill | 40 |
The handout specified a penalty of one-quarter of the marks assigned to a question for each wrong answer. It also cautioned that candidates might need to be at the venue for approximately 180 minutes, including login, call-letter collection and instructions; this is separate from the 120-minute test duration.

What candidates had to bring to the exam venue
LIC HFL’s handout instructed candidates to bring the call letter with a recent photograph affixed, plus a currently valid original photo ID and a photocopy of that same ID. The name on the call letter had to match the ID.
Examples of accepted ID listed in the handout included a PAN card, passport, permanent driving licence, voter card with photograph, qualifying bank passbook, Aadhaar/e-Aadhaar with photograph, employee ID and certain official or institutional photo IDs. Ration cards and learner’s driving licences were not accepted for this purpose. Candidates were also told to bring a ballpoint pen and a blue ink stamp pad.
Calculators, books, notebooks, written notes, phones and other electronic devices were prohibited. Candidates were required to follow the reporting time and venue printed on their own call letter; late arrivals would not be allowed into the examination.
