Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →LG Energy Solution and U.S. commercial EV startup indiGOtech have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding to explore a battery-cell supply relationship and technical collaboration. The proposed supply would cover LG’s 46-series NCM cylindrical cells for indiGOtech’s planned Flow Ride and Flow Cargo vehicles from 2027 through 2030, but a definitive purchase agreement has not been announced.
What does the MoU cover?
LG Energy Solution announced the MoU on October 1, 2026; indiGOtech published its announcement on September 30. The companies say they are exploring supply of 46-series nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) cylindrical cells, alongside work to integrate batteries with vehicles and verify performance. LG’s announcement describes joint business development through vehicle-battery integration and performance verification. indiGOtech’s announcement also includes future vehicles and energy transfer stations in the MoU’s scope, and describes validation and commercial development work.
Is the battery supply deal final?
No. The agreement is explicitly non-binding. LG says the parties will work toward a final agreement, so the MoU records an intention to explore a relationship rather than a completed purchase commitment. Neither announcement specifies an order volume, contract value, or final purchase obligation.
When and where could the cells be used?
The contemplated supply period is 2027 through 2030, for indiGOtech’s planned Flow Ride and Flow Cargo vehicles. The releases do not give a vehicle launch date or confirm that the proposed supply will proceed under a final contract.

What are Flow Ride and Flow Cargo?
They are planned vehicle programs named in connection with indiGOtech’s prospective battery supply. indiGOtech describes its business as integrating vehicles, charging and energy systems, and digital fleet services. Its release says the collaboration aims to improve usable range, shorten charging windows, extend battery life, and support fleet uptime. Those are the company’s stated objectives, not independently verified results or quantified performance guarantees.
What performance information has been disclosed?
LG Energy Solution Mobility & IT Battery Marketing Group Leader Sunghwan Oh said: “Based on LG Energy Solution’s 46-series NCM cylindrical battery technology that boasts high energy density and rapid charging capabilities, we will closely collaborate with indiGOtech, which is successfully building the Transportation-as-a-Service (TaaS) ecosystem in the U.S.” This is LG’s characterization of its technology and indiGOtech’s business; the announcements provide no independent test results or figures for energy density, charging time, cycle life, cost, or order size.

A Korean-language LG release mentions annual growth of more than 15% for the global electric-van market, but does not identify a forecast period or underlying study. It is therefore not a sufficiently specified market forecast to establish the deal’s commercial outlook. LG’s Korean-language release contains that claim.
