Was übernahm LEONI?
LEONI erwarb 80 Prozent der Anteile an Silitherm. Die zeitgenössischen Angaben belegen damit eine Mehrheitsbeteiligung, nicht den Erwerb sämtlicher Anteile. Silitherm hatte seinen Sitz in Monticelli d’Ongina in Norditalien und stellte Silikonleitungen her.
Als Einsatzbereiche nannte die Unternehmensmeldung die Automobil- und Elektrogeräteindustrie sowie petrochemische Anlagen. Sie bezeichnete den Schritt als „Konsequente Fortsetzung der Wachstumsstrategie“.
Wann wurde die Übernahme abgeschlossen?
Die Meldung vom 16. Mai 2007 kündigte den Kauf vorbehaltlich der kartellrechtlichen Zustimmung an. Die österreichische Bundeswettbewerbsbehörde dokumentierte die Anmeldung am 21. Mai. Laut Behörde wurde kein Prüfungsantrag gestellt; das Durchführungsverbot fiel am 15. Juni 2007 weg. LEONIs Geschäftsbericht bestätigt den Vollzug am 2. Juli 2007.

Was ist über Silitherm und seine heutige Situation bekannt?
Die Meldung aus dem Jahr 2007 nannte rund 50 Beschäftigte. Das ist eine damalige Unternehmensangabe und keine aktuelle Personalzahl. Die hier dokumentierten Quellen klären weder Silitherms heutigen Eigentümer noch einen möglichen Fortbestand des Unternehmens oder seiner Marke und Produkte.
LEONIs Unternehmensgeschichte dokumentiert spätere Veränderungen im Konzern. Im Juli 2025 wurde der Geschäftsbereich Automotive Cable Solutions an TIME Interconnect veräußert. Diese Transaktion belegt für sich genommen jedoch nichts über Silitherms heutige Eigentums- oder Markenverhältnisse.
