LeBron James’s former Beverly Hills estate is the reported site of two planned homes, not one replacement mansion. Realtor.com reported in October 2025 that the original house had been demolished and that the 2.72-acre property was divided into two residential parcels. Its account was based on planning applications and photographs; the reported designs should not be treated as verified final construction specifications.
What happened to the Beverly Hills estate?
James bought the property in 2020 for about $37 million, according to Realtor.com’s October 24, 2025 report. The Times of India later reported a more precise purchase figure of $36.75 million in a September 26, 2026 retrospective. Both figures are reported purchase prices; the sources reviewed here did not independently examine the recorded sale.
Realtor.com reported that the original home was demolished and the 2.72-acre site was split into two parcels, each planned for a residence. The Times of India said construction began in 2023 after planning approvals. Those details describe the timeline reported by the outlets, not an independently reviewed permit record.

These are features attributed to the reported plans, not confirmation that each was ultimately built. Realtor.com also reported shared property elements: a driveway, motor court, water feature and a 209-square-foot guard house. It described 10-foot perimeter fencing and an alarm system.

Realtor.com described construction as ongoing in October 2025 and said James still had a way to go before moving in. That dated account does not establish whether construction has since finished or whether anyone occupies either home. The reports reviewed here do not establish final project costs, final specifications or which family members, if any, will use each residence.

Realtor.com raised the possibility that the second home might be intended for Bronny James, but presented that as speculation rather than a confirmed plan. There is no confirmed occupant information in the reporting described above.
