There is no reliable evidence here that Leanne Manas endorsed a verified “Quantum AI” trading app. Instead, South Africa’s Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) warned in June 2025 about investment-platform promotions using deepfake videos of Manas and other public figures. An investigation published by the Mail & Guardian in April 2024 also documented adverts featuring Manas that led to registration forms and follow-up from trading-platform staff. Treat a promotion using her likeness as a serious warning sign—not as proof of a genuine endorsement.

What do the “Leanne Manas Quantum AI” reviews establish?

The available official warning and reporting document deceptive-looking investment promotions; they do not authenticate a Quantum AI product, establish that Manas endorsed one, or identify every operator using the phrase “Quantum AI.” The phrase alone is not enough to determine who runs a particular website or whether it is authorised.

On 10 June 2025, the FSCA warned the public about a platform promotion that used fake images and deepfake videos of Dr Patrice Motsepe, Leanne Manas, Cyril Ramaphosa and Paul Mashatile. The authority said the platforms “may be providing financial services to the public without authorisation.” Read the FSCA warning.

The FSCA said the promotion claimed investors could earn R13,000–R17,000 per day after investing R4,500. Those figures describe what the promotion promised, not verified returns or independently measured performance.

What happened when reporters followed the adverts?

In an April 2024 investigation, the Mail & Guardian reported that it clicked an advert featuring Manas and Johann Rupert on 19 April. The landing page requested contact details; the paper then received an SMS and welcome email from Banxso, followed by onboarding calls the next day. The report also said forensic investigator Bart Henderson clicked a similar advert and was directed to an Afrimarkets trading platform. Read the Mail & Guardian report.

This reporting records the advert-to-contact path observed by the paper and the investigator. It does not show that Manas consented to the advert, confirm that the trading offers were genuine, or establish that every promotion using her image leads to the same firm.

Is every app or website called Quantum AI the same operation?

No. The sources cited here do not establish that “Quantum AI” is one identifiable product, one operator, or a single app used by every website with that name. A label or celebrity image in an advert cannot verify who controls the site behind it.

The Mail & Guardian report described historical regulatory activity as of April 2024: it said the FSCA had warned about deepfake adverts generated by Immediate Matrix, was investigating Banxso for possible contraventions of financial-sector laws, and had opened a preliminary investigation into Afrimarkets. Those are statements about the situation reported at that time; they do not establish current investigation status or outcomes.

How to check a South African financial-services offer

  1. Identify the legal provider. Find the company name and any Financial Services Provider (FSP) number on the offer. Do not rely on a celebrity name, app label or trading brand as proof of identity.
  2. Check the FSCA register. Search the provider in the FSCA database and confirm that the FSP number belongs to that same legal name. A number displayed on a website is not proof unless the details match.
  3. Check whether the authorisation covers the service. The FSCA cautions that registration to give advice in one category does not necessarily authorise advice on more complex or risky products. A matching name alone does not settle whether the offer is within the provider’s permitted scope.
  4. Look for independent confirmation of the endorsement. Do not treat a video, advert or landing page as proof that Manas supports the offer. The evidence cited here does not authenticate an endorsement; verify any such claim through a source directly attributable to her.
  5. Do not deposit while identity or authorisation is unclear. The FSCA warning concerns the promotion and platforms it describes; it does not identify every live site using “Quantum AI.” Check the specific provider and any current regulator notices before engaging.

What remains unverified

  • The sources do not establish the current operator, licensing status or domain ownership of every site using “Quantum AI.”
  • They do not provide a verified victim count, total loss estimate, or measured fraud rate specific to promotions associated with Manas.
  • The 2024 report’s descriptions of investigations are historical and do not establish their present status or eventual outcomes.
