What was Le Creuset’s Black Friday 2024 promotion?
T3 reported on 28 November 2024 that Le Creuset called its promotion “Colourful Friday” and offered up to 50% off selected products. Its coverage described cast iron enamelled cookware, casserole dishes, soup pots, dishes, mugs, utensils and cookware sets. The headline’s count of 48 deals cannot be verified from the reviewed coverage. T3 featured seven examples, Mumsnet gave a selection of sale examples, and a US roundup covered a separate retailer and product mix. The examples below are useful historical reference points, not a complete catalogue.

How to judge a Le Creuset deal
A percentage reduction alone does not establish that a product is good value for your needs. Use the comparison points below when checking a current listing or comparing historical sale examples.
- Choose the right form: Round and oval casseroles, shallow casseroles, skillets and baking dishes suit different cooking tasks and fit different ovens and storage spaces.
- Check the material: The cited products include enamelled cast iron, stoneware, stainless steel and non-stick cookware. Compare the material and care requirements for the exact item, rather than treating all cookware sets as interchangeable.
- Compare capacity and included pieces: For a casserole, capacity can matter as much as its shape; British GQ reported 6.3 litres for the featured oval casserole. For sets, check exactly which items are included.
- Compare like with like: Confirm the product name, size, retailer and current checkout price before comparing it with an older “was” price. The 2024 figures above do not establish today’s price, stock or reference pricing.
What about US Black Friday listings?
Tom’s Guide’s US retailer coverage lists products including a cast iron oval gratin baker, whistling tea kettle, griddle, rectangular baking-dish set, cast iron loaf pan, French oven, skillet, seasonal round ovens, 7.25-quart Dutch oven and eight-piece cookware set. Black Friday 2024 fell on 29 November. T3’s reported examples are UK prices in pounds and date to 28 November 2024; Mumsnet’s archived list is another UK source.
