Larry Page’s estimated net worth was between $273.7 billion and $328 billion in the latest dated figures available here. Forbes listed him at $273.7 billion on July 28, 2026; Bloomberg estimated $328 billion on May 20, 2026, at 11:02 p.m. UTC. Both ranked him No. 2 in the world at those respective times. These are estimates—not audited accounts or a measure of cash Page can spend.
Larry Page’s net worth at a glance
| Tracker or record | Figure | Date and context |
|---|---|---|
| Forbes real-time profile | $273.7 billion; No. 2 globally | July 28, 2026 |
| Bloomberg Billionaires Index | $328 billion; No. 2 globally | May 20, 2026, 11:02 p.m. UTC |
| Forbes report | $300.9 billion | April 30, 2026, following an Alphabet share-price rise after quarterly results |
The estimates differ by more than $54 billion, and their dates are not the same. They are snapshots from separate methodologies, not competing audited statements. Because Alphabet stock trades publicly and Page’s fortune is closely tied to it, valuations can shift sharply as the share price changes.
Why Forbes and Bloomberg give different estimates
A billionaire index estimates assets and liabilities; it does not have access to a complete, audited personal balance sheet. Trackers can use different stock prices and update schedules, and may make different assumptions about beneficial ownership, private investments, other assets, debt and currency conversion. A displayed figure may also reflect a different refresh time from another page.
Bloomberg says its index is updated at the close of every New York trading day and provides calculation details on individual profiles. Its published estimate and a Forbes real-time estimate therefore should be compared with their dates and update conventions attached—not treated as simultaneous readings.

A simplified model is: estimated net worth ≈ market value of shares and other assets − estimated liabilities. That model cannot produce Page’s exact net worth from one stockholding disclosure: it does not establish all of his economic interests, other assets, liabilities or taxes.
How Larry Page built his fortune
Page and Sergey Brin developed the PageRank search-ranking system while at Stanford and cofounded Google in 1998. Google Search became the foundation of a much larger technology business, and Page’s continuing Alphabet equity is the main observable source of his wealth. Forbes identifies his source of wealth as Google and describes him as an Alphabet cofounder and board member. Forbes’ Larry Page profile
Rank #2
Alphabet is Google’s parent company. The distinction matters: Page’s fortune is associated with his stake in the parent, rather than being a salary-based measure of work at Google.
What Alphabet’s ownership filing says
Alphabet’s 2026 proxy statement reported that Page beneficially owned 389,051,160 Class B shares as of April 6, 2026. That represented 46.5% of Alphabet’s Class B stock and 27.4% of total voting power, according to the filing. The figures are based on company records, SEC filings and information provided to Alphabet. Alphabet 2026 proxy statement
“Beneficially owned” is a reporting category; it does not necessarily mean Page personally holds every share directly or that every share is freely available for sale. The proxy ownership table also excludes Alphabet’s non-voting Class C stock. The disclosed share count is useful evidence about ownership and influence, but it is not a complete calculation of his personal net worth.
Why his voting power differs from an ownership percentage
Alphabet has three share classes: Class A shares have one vote per share, Class B shares have 10 votes per share, and Class C shares generally have no voting rights except where required by law. This structure means voting influence is not the same as economic ownership. Alphabet 2025 Form 10-K

A separate Alphabet filing reported that Page and Brin together beneficially owned approximately 89.4% of Class B shares, representing approximately 52.7% of total voting power as of April 6, 2026. Those are the founders’ combined figures, not Page’s individual stake. Alphabet SEC filing

No. Page previously served as Google CEO from 2011 to 2015 and then became Alphabet CEO when the parent company was formed. He stepped down as Alphabet CEO in 2019. Forbes describes him as remaining an Alphabet board member and controlling shareholder. Forbes’ Larry Page profile

Does Larry Page earn a salary?
Alphabet’s 2026 proxy lists Page’s annual employee salary as $1 and says he and Brin do not receive compensation for board service. That nominal salary does not measure investment gains or changes in the value of his stock; most of Page’s estimated wealth is equity-based. Alphabet 2026 proxy statement
How much of Page’s wealth is liquid?
The precise liquid portion of Page’s wealth is not established by the public figures cited here. The market value assigned to publicly traded shares is not equivalent to cash in a bank account. Selling a large holding can involve taxes and affect the market price, while private investments and liabilities may not be fully visible in a public estimate. For that reason, the net-worth figures should not be read as the amount he could immediately spend.
