Kubota introduced the RTV-X1130 on January 23, 2024, at World of Concrete in Las Vegas as the long-bed addition to its refreshed RTV-X utility-vehicle line. Its defining feature is a six-foot Pro-Konvert cargo bed: Kubota says users can reposition the sides and tailgate without tools to create a flatbed. The company lists 26 cubic feet of storage and a 1,213-pound cargo capacity for the X1130.
What is the Kubota RTV-X1130?
The RTV-X1130 is a diesel-powered utility vehicle designed around hauling materials. Kubota announced it as part of the RTV-X refresh, describing it as a long-bed model for work that benefits from carrying bulky or awkward loads. The company’s announcement was made January 23, 2024; its U.S. product announcement page is dated April 10, 2024. Kubota’s RTV-X1130 announcement
The product manager quoted in the announcement called it “the material mover model.” That is Kubota’s description of its intended role, not an independent comparison or test.
How does the Pro-Konvert bed work?
The X1130 has a six-foot heavy-duty steel cargo bed. Kubota says its Pro-Konvert system lets operators reposition the bed sides and tailgate without tools, including a flatbed arrangement for materials that do not fit neatly inside a conventional box. The hydraulic dump bed is standard, according to the announcement. Kubota’s X1130 specifications and features
