As checked on August 16, 2026, a StackSocial listing showed $129.97 with code KOOFR; other listings have shown different prices, so confirm the checkout total and expiration before buying. The marketplace lists an $810 suggested price, which is not the same as Koofr’s ordinary consumer price.
What the Koofr lifetime offer includes

The listing describes access through the web, desktop and mobile apps, and WebDAV, with unlimited devices. The promotional license is subject to Koofr’s terms and inactivity policy.

Is $130 a good price for 1TB?
At $129.97, the purchase is about 84% below the marketplace’s stated $810 suggested price. Treat that percentage as a comparison to the marketplace’s suggested figure—not proof that Koofr normally charges $810 for this capacity.

Koofr’s official pricing page lists its standard 1TB plan at €10 per month. A simple comparison puts $129.97 near 13 months of that listed monthly price, before exchange rates, VAT or other taxes, and any differences in plan terms or features. Koofr’s standard plan is a separate product, and its pricing page says standard subscriptions are currently available yearly; check the current billing details on the vendor page.
The marketplace promotion is volatile: listings have displayed $129.97, $129.99, and $159.99, among other prices. For example, an alternate listing showed the coupon price, while another listing showed $159.99. The price and expiration can change; rely on the final checkout total, not a headline or an earlier promotion.

What you can do with Koofr
Koofr is a cloud drive for uploading, organizing, syncing, accessing, and sharing files. Its standard-plan feature table lists synchronization, file versioning, deleted-file retention, mobile-media backup, sharing, WebDAV, and connections to services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive. Check the official feature table and the deal terms for what applies to this specific promotional tier; do not assume every standard-plan feature is included just because it appears on the general pricing page.
Cloud storage and backup overlap, but they are not interchangeable. Synchronization can propagate a deletion or unwanted change, so a synced copy alone may not protect against mistakes, ransomware, account compromise, or an outage. Koofr explains the distinction in its cloud storage versus cloud backup guide. Keep another independent copy of files you cannot afford to lose.

What “lifetime” does—and does not—promise
“Lifetime” describes access under the service’s terms, not ownership of a storage device or a guarantee that files will be hosted forever. The marketplace says the offer is subject to Koofr’s terms of service and inactivity policy. It does not specify a fixed number of years, and the benefit depends on Koofr continuing to operate the service and your account remaining eligible.
The code must be redeemed within 15 days of purchase. Set a reminder, sign in to the intended Koofr account before redeeming, and check that the upgrade landed on the correct account. A lifetime offer also does not make the account a provider-independent archive: keep a second copy of important data.

Security and privacy: distinguish the claims
Encryption in transit or at rest, a provider’s privacy practices, and end-to-end or zero-knowledge encryption are different things. Promotional coverage has described Koofr’s encryption and privacy positioning, but those descriptions do not establish that every file on this promotional tier is end-to-end encrypted. The official pricing page is a better place to confirm plan features, but it is not by itself proof of a specific encryption model.
Do not choose this deal on the assumption that it provides zero-knowledge protection by default. Review Koofr’s current security and privacy information for the exact account and plan you will use, protect the account with a strong unique password, and use available account-security controls.

Who should consider it—and who should skip it
It may suit you if
- You expect to use about 1TB for several years and prefer a one-time payment to another storage subscription.
- You want web, desktop, mobile, or WebDAV access and file sharing rather than a full office or team-collaboration suite.
- You want a secondary cloud copy of personal files and will maintain another independent backup for irreplaceable data.
- You are comfortable managing a marketplace redemption and relying on Koofr’s service and account terms.
Look elsewhere if
- You expect to exceed 1TB soon; video, RAW photos, and multiple device libraries can consume capacity quickly.
- You need business-grade administration, auditing, or enterprise identity management.
- You need guaranteed long-term archival preservation or a backup that remains independent of sync and account changes.
- You require end-to-end or zero-knowledge encryption for all stored files and have not verified that the exact plan provides it.
- You may not sign in for extended periods, or you are unwilling to depend on one provider remaining operational.
How to buy and redeem the code
- Open the current StackSocial Koofr 1TB deal page. Check the displayed price, expiration, and whether code KOOFR is accepted.
- Apply the code at checkout and confirm the final total before paying. Save the order confirmation.
- Look for the redemption code and instructions in the email from the marketplace.
- Within 15 days of purchase, sign in to the Koofr account where you want the storage, or create one, and redeem the code.
- Confirm in Koofr that the account shows the 1TB lifetime upgrade before uploading your only copy of important files.
- Install the desktop or mobile app if useful. Before enabling sync or mobile-media backup, understand how deletions and versions work, and retain an independent copy of critical files.
If the code fails, first check that you are signed in to the intended account and that the 15-day redemption window has not passed. For an expired or rejected promotion, contact StackSocial about the purchase and redemption; for an account upgrade that does not appear after successful redemption, contact Koofr.
How it compares with other storage choices
| Option | Consider it when | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Google One | You rely on Google Photos, Gmail, Android, or Google services. | Subscription rather than this one-time marketplace offer. |
| Dropbox | You prioritize familiar file-sharing and collaboration workflows. | Recurring plan pricing; compare the current plan and capacity you need. |
| Microsoft OneDrive | You already use Microsoft 365 and value Office integration. | Best assessed as part of the Microsoft ecosystem, not just as a standalone storage price. |
| pCloud | You are comparing consumer cloud drives or other lifetime promotions. | Lifetime tiers, encryption options, and terms vary; verify the current offer rather than assuming equivalence. |
| Proton Drive | Privacy-oriented storage is a priority. | Compare the precise encryption, sharing, and plan features available to you. |
For a direct vendor-billed Koofr option, compare the marketplace license with Koofr’s standard plans. The plans are not necessarily identical in billing, terms, or included features.
Bottom line: a reasonable deal only if the terms fit
At roughly $130, Koofr’s 1TB lifetime offer can make sense for someone who expects to use that capacity beyond the roughly 13-month sticker-price comparison with Koofr’s listed €10 monthly 1TB plan. Buy only after confirming the checkout price, redeem promptly, and treat the cloud account as storage—not as your sole backup or guaranteed archive.
