The Kindle Colorsoft Essentials Bundle was one confirmed Kindle offer in Amazon’s October 2026 Prime Big Deal Days. Tom’s Guide reported that its 16GB configuration cost $201 during the October 6–7 event, compared with a stated regular price of $346. That was a past event price, not a verified price or availability update for October 8.
What the Kindle bundle deal was
Amazon’s U.S. announcement listed the Kindle Colorsoft Essentials Bundle among select device offers for Prime Big Deal Days, a 48-hour event exclusive to Prime members. Amazon did not give this bundle’s price in its announcement. Tom’s Guide reported the specific event price and bundle contents.
Reported price and savings
Tom’s Guide listed the 16GB bundle at $201 during the event, against a stated regular price of $346. The difference is $145, or about 42% of that stated regular price. This calculation uses Tom’s Guide’s figures; it is not confirmation of Amazon’s current price or of the bundle’s usual selling price outside the report.
What was included
According to Tom’s Guide, the 16GB Essentials Bundle included a Kindle Colorsoft, a fabric cover, and a 9W power adapter. The reported $201 price applied to that bundle configuration.

Is the $201 offer still available?
Amazon’s event ended October 7, 2026, so the $201 figure should be treated as historical. The current listing price, stock, and whether the offer continued after the event have not been verified. Check the live Amazon listing before making a purchase or relying on the event price.
Why the deal should not be generalized to every Kindle
Amazon’s announcement named this bundle as one of its select device offers; it did not establish that every Kindle model or bundle was discounted. The available reporting also reflects different markets and dates: on October 2, TechRadar said UK discounts it had observed applied to older models, while the new 2026 range appeared at full price, and it had not yet seen U.S. deals on the new models at that point. That was an early snapshot, not a complete account of offers during the event.
