The ten companies below are notable examples, not a definitive top-ten performance list: the available records document selected deals, outcomes, or continuing product visibility, but do not establish O’Leary’s realized return for each company.
A televised offer is not proof that a deal closed after filming. The distinction matters: a company’s later revenue, acquisition, or continued sales does not by itself show what O’Leary earned.
What “top” means in this list
This is a curated list of ten recognizable companies associated with O’Leary’s Shark Tank appearances, selected for documented deal or outcome references and continuing business or product visibility. It is not ranked by investment return. The sources do not provide a consistent, audited comparison of his cash invested, ownership, distributions, or proceeds from selling a stake across these companies.
Deal terms and company outcomes below are limited to what the cited sources establish. Where a source does not confirm that an offer closed or provide a comparable result, that gap is stated rather than filled with an assumption.

Kevin O’Leary’s ten notable Shark Tank companies
| Company | What it does | What the available record establishes |
|---|---|---|
| GrooveBook | A photo-book service that turned users’ phone pictures into printed books. | Secondary coverage describes a licensing deal and a later acquisition. The materials cited here do not establish O’Leary’s realized proceeds or a comparable return figure. |
| Wicked Good Cupcakes | A bakery selling cupcakes in jars. | Secondary coverage describes a royalty-based deal structure. A royalty arrangement is not enough to calculate O’Leary’s total return without verified payment and contract details. |
| Basepaws | A pet-genetics company. | Secondary coverage reports an acquisition. That event does not, on its own, establish the amount O’Leary received or whether his televised offer closed on its original terms. |
| Lovepop | A company known for intricate, three-dimensional greeting cards. | Included in secondary investment coverage as a notable O’Leary-associated company. The sources cited here do not provide a verified, comparable return or enough detail to state a definitive post-show outcome. |
| Blueland | A household-products company associated with refillable cleaning products. | O’Leary Ventures lists Blueland on its official Shark Tank page. That confirms the company’s relevance to his Shark Tank portfolio, but does not independently establish deal closure, current sales, or investment performance. |
| Simply Fit Board | A balance board marketed for exercise. | Appears among companies discussed in secondary coverage of O’Leary’s investments. The sources cited here do not establish a comparable outcome or realized return. |
| Bertello Pizza Oven | A portable outdoor pizza oven. | O’Leary Ventures lists Bertello Pizza Oven on its official Shark Tank page and describes the product as portable and intended for outdoor use. The listing is evidence of product relevance, not a sales figure or proof of return. |
| HelloPrenup | An online service for preparing prenuptial agreements. | O’Leary Ventures lists HelloPrenup on its official Shark Tank page. The listing does not establish deal terms, closure status, or investment performance. |
| Zipz | A company that pitched single-serving wine packaging. | Secondary coverage cites Zipz as a caution that a large televised offer is not automatically evidence of the best-performing investment. The available materials do not establish a comparable return for O’Leary. |
| One additional company is not defensibly identified | — | The sources reviewed do not support a reliable tenth company with sufficiently verified pitch, post-show deal status, and outcome details. Naming one to complete a ranked list would imply more certainty than the evidence supports. |
The official O’Leary Ventures page identifies Bertello Pizza Oven, HelloPrenup, and Blueland among its Shark Tank companies; its descriptions support their product categories, not a claim that each was a profitable investment. O’Leary Ventures’ Shark Tank page
Did O’Leary’s televised Shark Tank deals actually close?
Not necessarily. The televised pitch and offer are only the on-air part of the process; secondary coverage notes that post-show due diligence can alter or end a deal. Treat an on-air offer as an offer, not proof of a completed investment. For the individual companies in this list, the cited sources do not consistently verify closure and final terms.

Two database summaries illustrate why aggregate deal counts should not be treated as a performance record:
| Source and date | Reported totals | What the figures mean |
|---|---|---|
| Shark Tank Companies, profile reviewed August 23, 2026 | 146 on-air deals; $35.1 million committed on air; 100 companies marked “in business” | The figures cover Seasons 1–18. The publisher says the on-air amount does not show that every agreement closed or generated a return, and that “in business” status is not a measure of investment performance. |
| Sharkary, accessed October 8, 2026 | 146 deals across 18 seasons; $29.0 million invested; $50.1 million estimated stake value | These totals use Sharkary’s own dataset and definitions, so they should not be combined with the other publisher’s amounts. The $50.1 million is an estimate based on reported revenue, category multiples, and equity share; Sharkary says revenue was reported for 69 of 95 companies. It is not a reported realized return. |
The difference between the sources is a reason to keep their totals separate, not to average them. Neither source supplies a verified, consistent return figure for a comparable ten-company ranking. Shark Tank Companies’ Kevin O’Leary profile and Sharkary’s Kevin O’Leary deal page

How to judge a “best” Shark Tank investment
For an investor, the useful question is not simply whether a company became visible or remained in business. A company’s outcome and an investor’s outcome are different records.
- Deal completion: Was the offer finalized after filming, and did the final terms match the televised agreement?
- Business outcome: Did the company continue operating, grow, or get acquired? These facts describe the business, not automatically the investor’s profit.
- Investor return: What cash did O’Leary invest, what did he receive, and when? A defensible return comparison needs those figures, plus a consistent accounting of ownership and any later changes.
Because the available sources do not establish those details consistently for ten companies, it is not possible to name an objectively highest-return investment from this record. Company recognition, an acquisition, and an estimated stake value should not be mistaken for O’Leary’s personal realized gain.

Sources and scope
The official O’Leary Ventures page is useful for confirming which companies it currently identifies on its Shark Tank page, but it does not establish their sales or investment returns. The aggregate deal counts and estimated stake value above come from separate secondary databases with different scopes and methods. Secondary examples of company deals and outcomes are not a substitute for verified transaction records.
