One Peak and EIFO led the investment announced on December 16, 2024. One Peak described it as Keepit’s third equity investment in four years and put the company’s total funding at approximately $90 million after the round. Those totals are figures from the investor’s announcement, not a separately audited funding record. One Peak’s announcement also framed the deal as continued support from an existing investor.

What did Keepit plan to do with the $50 million?
The stated priorities were to expand go-to-market activity and continue product innovation. One Peak said the plans included covering more SaaS workloads and adding data-management and intelligence capabilities for enterprise customers. These were announced priorities; the funding announcement does not establish that each planned feature or expansion was subsequently completed.
In February 2025, Keepit also described regional expansion, new data centers in Switzerland and a growing partner ecosystem during 2024. Those details are company-reported context. In its update, CEO and co-founder Morten Felsvang said the investment would help the company innovate, expand in key markets and scale its team. Keepit’s February 2025 update repeated the funding announcement and outlined that context.

What does Keepit’s SaaS data protection platform cover?
Keepit sells cloud backup and recovery for business SaaS applications. Its product page describes the service as vendor-neutral and hosted on an independent cloud. The listed workloads include Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zendesk, Jira and Confluence, Jira Service Management, Okta, DocuSign, BambooHR, Miro, GitHub, monday.com and Autodesk Forma. The investment announcement is about a business-to-business service, not a consumer backup product. The company’s older 2020 funding announcement argued that major cloud providers did not provide built-in backup for SaaS data; that is historical company framing, not a universal description of current retention or recovery features across SaaS services. One Peak’s 2020 announcement provides that earlier context.

What later performance figures has Keepit reported?
On September 10, 2026, Keepit said it had surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and had grown more than 13 times since One Peak’s initial investment in September 2020. Both are company-reported figures, not independently verified financial results. Keepit’s September 2026 announcement reports the milestone.
These later figures provide context for the company’s reported growth after the 2024 round, but they do not by themselves show how much of that growth the investment caused or establish profitability, valuation or the return earned by investors.
