What KDK Spectrum does
KDK Softwares describes Spectrum as tax-compliance software. Its materials also refer to Spectrum Cloud services for GST, income-tax returns (ITR), and tax deducted at source (TDS), aimed at tax professionals and compliance teams in India. KDK’s installation guidance describes downloading and installing the software, then signing up with a mobile number, verifying an OTP, and signing in. KDK installation and support guidance and the Spectrum Cloud product page explain these services.
Product labels matter: KDK Spectrum and Spectrum Cloud appear in related but distinct vendor materials. Confirm whether a quote is for installed desktop software, a cloud subscription, or a particular combination of services; do not assume the editions have identical features or terms.
KDK Spectrum pricing in 2026
No reliable public 2026 price was established. KDK’s Spectrum Cloud page says subscription options are available to registered users after login and invites prospective customers to contact sales. KDK’s Spectrum Cloud page does not publish a public price list. G2 also says the provider had not supplied pricing information on its KDK Spectrum pricing page, which G2 labels as last updated January 4, 2023; that dated listing is not a current quote. Ask KDK or an authorized seller for a written quote that identifies the product edition and delivery model, then check these terms before comparing offers:
- Subscription period and renewal price, including whether the quoted amount is introductory or recurring.
- Number of users, client capacity, and return limits.
- Included modules, updates, and upgrade terms.
- Support coverage, migration assistance, and any separate fees.
- Applicable taxes and the total cost for the full subscription period.
What the available reviews say—and do not say
G2 displayed a 4.5/5 rating based on two KDK Spectrum reviews. The comments were posted November 19, 2019, and November 22, 2018, so they are a small historical sample rather than evidence of current user sentiment. G2’s KDK Spectrum reviews.

- Another described the software as user-friendly and said a broken connection could mean waiting for service to be restored.
These comments indicate what two users reported at the time; they do not establish current reliability, support quality, feature performance, or value for money.
Questions to resolve before you buy
Will the edition fit your workflow?
Ask which GST, ITR, and TDS functions are included in the specific edition offered, and whether the service is installed locally, accessed through a LAN, or delivered through the cloud. If you are moving from another system, confirm what data can be migrated and who handles the work.

Are capacity and renewal terms clear?
Get the client and return caps, user-seat count, subscription period, renewal price, and consequences of exceeding a limit in writing. KDK support documentation says client or return limits, a pending renewal, and LAN settings can be factors when an “evaluation period expired” message appears. It directs users to check the subscribed-plan screen; a plan change can be requested through support or a local vendor. KDK support documentation.
How are updates handled?
KDK documents an in-product live-update process. Ask which updates are included with the quoted edition and whether ongoing updates depend on an active subscription or renewal. KDK support guidance.

How to judge the total cost and fit
Without verified public prices or complete plan limits, a meaningful plan-by-plan price comparison is not possible. For a comparison with another tax-compliance product, request equivalent details for each option:
- Delivery model: installed desktop or LAN access versus browser or cloud access.
- Tax modules and the client, return, and user limits included.
- Integrations, data migration, and setup responsibilities.
- Renewal, update, and support terms.
- Total annual cost, including taxes and any extra fees.
Base the decision on the written terms for your practice rather than the old review score or a price assumption. In particular, evaluate how your team would work if connectivity were interrupted, since one historical reviewer reported a connection-related wait.
