In its February 3, 2026 year-in-review, published by AllezLabs on the Kamino Governance Forum, the protocol reported that total supply rose from $2.95 billion to $3.34 billion during 2025, a 13.1% increase. DeFiLlama lists KMNO’s all-time-high price as $0.25 on December 15, 2024. Those are different measures, and neither should be mistaken for the other.
What does Kamino do?
Kamino is a Solana-based DeFi protocol that brings together lending, liquidity and leverage products. Users can lend and borrow crypto assets, seek leveraged exposure to SOL staking yield, provide leveraged liquidity to decentralized exchanges, and use automated market-making strategies. Kamino’s own site describes this product mix at kamino.com.
That makes “Kamino” broader than a single lending app. Its liquidity product is described separately at Kamino Liquidity, while its public software ecosystem includes lending and vault programs, farms, liquidity SDKs, limit orders, oracle aggregation and audit reports, as shown by the Kamino Finance GitHub organization.
Which Kamino metric reached an all-time high?
The phrase depends on what is being measured. A token price, total value locked (TVL), supplied assets and borrowed assets are not interchangeable: a rise in one does not establish a record in another.

- KMNO token price: DeFiLlama lists the all-time high at $0.25, reached December 15, 2024. Its Kamino dashboard is a live, volatile data source, so check the historical metric and date again before relying on it.
- Lending supply: AllezLabs’ 2025 year-in-review says Kamino Lend’s total supply increased from $2.95 billion to $3.34 billion in 2025, up 13.1% year over year. This is a report by the post’s publisher, not an independently verified figure in the cited materials.
- TVL, borrowing and deposits: These are separate measures. The cited year-in-review supply figure does not by itself establish an all-time high for any of them.
Accordingly, the evidence supports describing Kamino as reporting supply growth in 2025; it does not support calling that a new KMNO price record or an all-time high across all protocol measures.
What did Kamino report about 2025?
In its February 3, 2026 forum post, AllezLabs said total supply reached $3.34 billion from $2.95 billion despite a 35% decline in SOL’s price over 2025. The same post reported that stablecoins and real-world assets (RWAs) each accounted for 45.9% of supply. These are the post’s reported figures and should be read with that attribution.

The post also says Kamino processed $156.9 million in liquidations without bad debt. This, too, is a source-reported performance claim, not an independently verified finding here. Liquidations are part of how collateralized lending protocols manage positions when collateral no longer meets required thresholds; the figure alone does not establish that lending is risk-free or that future liquidations will have the same outcome.
The account describes a year that included expansion into isolated markets and vaults. Isolated markets can separate risk between pools rather than exposing every market to the same collateral and asset mix, but the presence of that design does not remove smart-contract, collateral, oracle, liquidity or liquidation risks.

What is Kamino planning next?
The same year-in-review describes 2026 priorities that include fixed-rate lending, borrowing integrated with custody, private-credit vaults, an RWA decentralized exchange (DEX), borrow intents and BuildKit. The post says, “Kamino enters 2026 focused on institutional products including fixed-rate lending and in custody borrowing.” This is an institutional statement in the forum post, not a quotation from a named individual.
These are announced targets, not proof that each feature is available to users. Check Kamino’s current product interface and documentation before relying on any roadmap item, especially for access, eligibility, supported assets or terms.

Kamino’s earlier Road to $10B proposal likewise presented a community vision: it described $10 billion in useful TVL as a milestone and outlined product, community, KMNO and revenue pillars. It is evidence of ambition, not a forecast or evidence that the target has been reached.

Kamino is DeFi software on Solana, not a bank deposit account. Supplying assets or borrowing through a protocol exposes users to risks that differ from those of conventional savings and credit products, including smart-contract vulnerabilities, changing collateral values, liquidation, shifting borrowing costs and the availability of liquidity to withdraw. A reported increase in supply does not establish that a particular asset or market is suitable for an individual’s financial needs.

Before comparing Kamino with another lending venue, compare the actual market rather than relying on a headline: supported chain and collateral, stablecoin availability, market isolation and other risk controls, supply and borrow depth, utilization and current borrowing rates, fees and protocol revenue, liquidation and bad-debt history, and whether a feature is live or merely announced. These conditions can vary by market and change over time, so a protocol-wide figure or past yield should not be treated as a current offer.
