What were the reported age and eligibility details?
Scroll reported a general age range of 21–35 years, calculated as of August 1, 2023. It directed applicants to the official notification for post-specific eligibility, reservation and age-relaxation rules, pay scales, syllabus, and examination pattern. The news report alone does not establish the qualifications or other conditions for any individual post.
What was the application fee?
According to Scroll.in’s 2024 report, the fee was ₹100, or ₹50 for SC/ST candidates from Jharkhand; disabled candidates from Jharkhand were reported as exempt. The payment deadline for that application cycle was February 17, 2024. These are reported historical fee details, not confirmation of fees for any later JSSC recruitment.

Can you still apply through the old link?
No. The 2024 JTGLCCE 2023 application window has expired. The application steps reported at the time were to visit jssc.nic.in, choose “Application Forms (Apply),” select JTGLCCE 2023, complete the form, upload documents, pay the fee, submit, and save or print a copy. Those instructions described the closed 2024 process; they do not make the old form available now.
This information does not establish whether JSSC has opened a later recruitment cycle. For any new application, rely on the relevant current JSSC notice for dates, eligibility, fees, and the live application route rather than reusing details from the 2024 report.
