The application deadline for Jharkhand Public Service Commission’s Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) recruitment, Advertisement No. 21/2023, was extended to May 20, 2024. That deadline has passed: JPSC has since published the recruitment’s final result, so there is no active application link for this cycle.
Was May 20, 2024, the JPSC CDPO application deadline?
Yes. Scroll.in reported on April 30, 2024, that JPSC extended the deadline for CDPO Advertisement No. 21/2023 to May 20, 2024. The report listed 64 vacancies and said the application fee was ₹600 for unreserved, EWS, EBC and OBC candidates and ₹150 for reserved-category candidates. Is the JPSC CDPO apply link still open?
No. The May 20, 2024 deadline was for applications in the 2023 advertisement; it is not a current opportunity. Scroll’s article described applying through jpsc.gov.in, using the Online Application tab and the CDPO link, then registering, uploading documents, paying the fee and submitting the form. That was the route reported at the time, not an active application route now. Do not treat an old application link as a way to submit a new application.
What is the current status of Advertisement No. 21/2023?
The selection process has concluded. JPSC’s 2026 tentative examination calendar listed “Recruitment of Child Development Project Officer, Advt.No.-21/2023” at the interview stage for January 7, 8 and 9, 2026. The calendar cautioned that examination and interview dates could be changed. JPSC has since published an official document titled “Child Development Project Officer, Advt. No.-21/2023 Final Result,” which lists selected candidates numbered 1 through 64. The accessible result document does not establish its precise publication date. Where to check for a future JPSC CDPO recruitment
A future CDPO opening would require a new official notice and its own deadline, eligibility rules and application link. Check JPSC’s official recruitment notices rather than relying on a link from the completed 2024 application window. JPSC’s syllabus listing includes CDPO Advertisement No. 21/2023, which may help with preparation, but it does not mean that applications for this cycle remain open. Visit the JPSC website or check its syllabus listing.
