That is a third-party estimate, not a figure Garcia has confirmed or a verified accounting of his finances. The available sources do not disclose his assets, debts, income, or the calculation behind the estimate.
What is Jorge Garcia’s net worth?
Celebrity Net Worth currently estimates Garcia’s net worth at $5 million. The page, reviewed October 8, 2026, does not state when the estimate was originally published or updated, and the reviewed material does not explain how it was calculated. No audited personal-finance figure or original financial filing confirming the amount was identified.
Accordingly, the most accurate answer to “How much is Jorge Garcia worth?” is that one celebrity-estimate site puts the figure at $5 million, but his actual net worth is not publicly established by the sources available here. Celebrity Net Worth’s Jorge Garcia estimate should be treated as an estimate, not a confirmed balance sheet.
What is known about his career?
Garcia is best known for playing Hugo “Hurley” Reyes on Lost and Jerry Ortega on Hawaii Five-0. Celebrity Net Worth lists Lost (2004–2010) and Hawaii Five-0 (2013–2019) among his prominent credits. Those roles provide context for his public profile, but the credits do not establish what he earned.

An Associated Press profile republished by CBS News in October 2014 described Garcia’s move from recurring guest star to series regular on Hawaii Five-0, as well as work on Alcatraz and in films. The profile covers his career, not his compensation. The AP profile at CBS News does not report a salary or net-worth calculation.
What did Garcia say about getting started?
In a 2015 interview with Cuatro, Garcia recalled taking acting classes, working in commercials, and keeping a bookstore job while pursuing acting. He said he stayed at the store until he could afford to leave. That first-person account describes his early career path; it does not provide figures for his earnings or accumulated wealth. Does Hurley’s lottery win explain Garcia’s wealth?
No. Hurley’s lottery winnings are a plot point in Lost, not evidence about Garcia’s real finances. The AP profile describes Hurley as a character who wins the lottery; it does not connect that fictional windfall to the actor’s assets. A character’s wealth and an actor’s personal net worth are separate things.

A net-worth figure requires evidence about both assets and liabilities. The sources reviewed do not provide Garcia’s financial statements, property and investment holdings, debts, or reliable compensation disclosures. They also do not show the method Celebrity Net Worth used to arrive at its estimate.

Career credits alone cannot fill those gaps. Without documented earnings and a fuller accounting of what someone owns and owes, a precise calculation would be speculation. There is also only one specific dollar estimate in the sources reviewed, so they do not support a reliable range or comparison.
