The “up to 50% off” John Lewis women’s winter-essentials sale refers to a historical offer reported by T3 on 31 October 2025—not a verified live deal for October 2026. T3 listed six coats and jackets, with reported prices from £60 to £150. Those prices, discounts and product details should not be treated as current without checking John Lewis’s live listings.
What the 2025 sale included
T3’s 31 October 2025 article described a John Lewis pre-Black Friday offer on women’s coats and jackets with discounts of up to 50%. Its six picks ranged from waterproof outerwear to fleece layers and a quilted coat. The table records the prices and descriptions as T3 reported them at the time; it does not establish current prices, stock, sizes or specifications.

A women’s knitwear special-offers listing at John Lewis displayed 1,138 results when crawled five days before 8 October 2026. It included items such as a Merino Wool Rich with Cashmere Crew Neck Jumper and a Cashmere Crew Neck Cardigan, alongside selected reductions on third-party knitwear. That shows the retailer has an apparel offers section, but it does not confirm a current sale on women’s coats and jackets. Check the John Lewis knitwear offers listing for that category; check the retailer’s live outerwear pages separately for coats and jackets.

John Lewis’s 2026 Black Friday guide says Black Friday falls on Friday 27 November and savings are expected to begin online and in stores from 29 October. However, another section of the same guide refers to “Black Friday 2025.” Because of that inconsistency, treat the stated start date as an expectation on the guide, not a definitive schedule, and check for a corrected retailer announcement.
